Trouble in the bank. (Mac/Anyone)

Katrina ran and grabbed the gun. "You know guns work better with the safely off." She grinned. the people got off the floor and ran out.

I smiled a little at Katrina's words. Those guys were true beginners.
"And you better get your ass to that wall, with your back to us, or you'll have a hole in your body." I told the guy, while Star was still hiding behind me.

The guy obeyed. Kat just shook her head. Star held Mac's leg.

I let go of the other one and told him to do just the same thing.
I let my hand rest gently rest on Star's head as I look at Katrina.

Kat walked over to Mac and handed him the guy then took her knife.

I took it and gave the knife back to her. Now we hand to wait for someone to pick those two stupid guys up for us.
"You two okay?"

Seeing the hostages run out the bank Henry and a group of officers quickly entered the building but when HEnry saw Mac had everything under control Henry said "MAc, you should have left me some of people to fight."

"I sure would have, but trust me, it wouldn't have been any fun for you, Henry." I told him with a hint of a grin. "Taken down by an unharmed man and his family." I tossed at the two guys.

"If I was going to do the takedown it would have been a over kill." Henry said refering to the M16A3 he was holding.

"Nah - not worth the ammo." I said. "They didn't even know how to use the gun."

"Let me guess safeties on, I 've seen 10 year olds with more skillsin the gun before."

"Yeah, you're right about that." I replied and then looked at Katrina and Star again, wanting to make sure they were fine. Actually Star's seen things today she shouldn't have seen, but it turned out better than expected.

"Criminals just get dumber everyday."

I grin a little at that comment.
"Some do."

Katrina looked at Herny. She hated that guy and didn't want him around Star at all.

"You okay, Star?" I asked her, crouching down to her eye level, looking at her.

Star nodded wrappeing her little arms around Mac's neck.

I take her into my arms, holding her close.
"You're a brave little girl." I whisper into her ear.

She smiled.
Katrina watched with a little smile.

I picked Star up from the floor, holding her close and look at Katrina.

Star held into him.
Katrina smiled at him. "I don't want him around her." She whispered to Mac.

I nodded. I knew she didn't like him, so I understood.
"Well, let's go outside. Still have to give our statements to someone to take and then we can leave." I said quietly.

Katrina sighed taking Star and walking outside, but not before shooting a glare at Herny.

I followed her outside and was quickly taken aside by Don Flack, who vonlunteered to take my statement. After that was done I walked over to Katrina, who had been questioned by another officer.
"ready to go?"
