Trouble in the bank. (Mac/Anyone)

Katrina nodded at mac.

I give her a nod and start walking back to the car.
"So... what do we do now?" I ask Katrina as we were back at the car.

Katrina held Star close. "Umm I don't know." Katrina said.

"How about going somewhere for lunch and then see what we're up to?" I suggest.

Katrina nodded. "Sure."
Star glanced at Mac and Smiled.

I smiled back at Star.
"Hungry?" I asked.

Star nodded.
Katrina smiled a little.

I nodded and smiled and then got into the car again, knowing a nice place to have lunch at.

Kat put her in the car seat then got in.

Once everyone was in the car I started the engine and then pulled into the traffic once again, taking us to a small, but children's friendly restaurant to have lunch at. I've been at that place several times and knew the people working there.

Katrina was lost in her thoughts.
Star looked at them from her car seat.

Once in a while I glanced back her.

she was still lost.
Star looked around.

I stopped the car in front of the restaurant and looked at Katrina, who was obviously lost in thoughts.
"Everything okay?" I asked her in a gentle tone.

Karina snapped out of it and shook her head.

"Want to talk about it?" I asked, wanting to make sure she didn't just keep it all inside and also wanting to make sure she knew she could talk to me about everything.

Kat looked at him then Star. "Not right now." She said.

I nodded, guessing that she didn't want her daughter to hear all that.
"So... ready to get some lunch?" I asked them both.

Katrina didn't answer.
Star smiled. "Me is."

I turned to smile back at the little girl.
"Then let's take mommy out for lunch." I said to her and looked at Katrina. Something for me worried. "Kat?"

Katrina was looking out the window not listening.
Star looked at her. "Mommy?"
Katrina was lost in her thoughts.

I sighed and actually I was really worried right now. She's never really been like that before. I gently rested my hand on her shoulder and say her name again.

Katrina looked at him. "What?"

"You just zoomed out again and honestly that worries me." I said quietly. "Besides, our princess is hungry and I remember how you were when you were hungry."

Kat looked down. "Sorry."
Star looked at them.
Kat got out and got Star.
