Trouble in the bank. (Mac/Anyone)

Kat give a sad smiled. "Thank you."
Star looked at them.

I give her a small smile and looked back at Star, as the waiter returns with our lunch.
"You sure you don't want something, Kat?" I asked her again, just to be sure.

Star looked at her.
Katrina nodded playing with her water glass. "Yea I'm sure." She said in a whisper.

I sighed a little, knowing that at the moment there was nothing else to do, but start lunch.

Star started eating. Katrina looked around.

I started my lunch, too, watching both of them.

Katrina kept just playing with the glass.

Once we were done with lunch and the bill was paid I looked at Katrina.
"Wanna go back to my place?" I asked, just wanting to know what to do now.

She shrugged. "Sure." Star yawned.

I nodded and get up.

Katrina got up and got Star.

I took us back to my place and let them in.

Star was falling asleep in Kat's arms

I watch them both with a small smile, before I walk into my bedroom, putting my daughter's birthday present away and walk back out to the hallway.

Katrina was rocking Star to sleep.
Star fell asleep fast.

And once again I watched them both with a smile though it was worrying me that Katrina was so quiet now.

Katrina put Star and the guess room so she could sleep then went back out in the livingroom.

I looked at her with a worried glance when she walked back into the living room.

She looked at Mac and sighed. "What Mac?"

"Just trying to make sure you're okay." I said "But you're not, even Star noticed."

She just laid her head back on the wall and shook it.

I walked up her, gently resting my hand on her shoulder.
"What is it?" I asked in a mild tone.

She looked down feeling her eyes fill with tears.

Seeing that, I pull her into my arms, holding her close.

Katrina wrapped her arms around him.
