Thomas smiled a bit as the doors opened, "Aye" he replied

I got out and waited for him.

Thomas walked out of the elevator and walked to the motor pool

I followed him quietly once again lost in thoughts and worried.

Thomas signed out for one of the cars, then walked over, "Haylen what is it?" he asked

"Nothing." I replied, a little absently though.

"You sure?" Thomas asked

I looked up at him, first not really sure what to say.
"Just... worry, you know."

Thomas nodded, "I do" he replied softly before unlocking the car

"You know... sometimes I could use someone to..." I started, looking up and then away. "Nevermind."

Thomas watched her, then got into the car, "You can tell me later" he replied

"lean on..." I finished my setence and got in as well, sighing a little. Don't be ridiculous, Haylen...

Thomas looked at her, then gently touched her hand, "You have me lass" he said to her in Irish, a brotherly tone in his voice

I looked at him, my eyes glistening a little so I quickly look down again. I understood what he said, but that was the only bit of Irish I knew so far.

Thomas smiled a bit, then started the car and drove out of the parking lot

Actually I felt like crying right now, but I kept my strong side up. I hated to look weak. But I didn't say anything else.
