Thomas nodded, "I didn't have anything of her when growing up."

"Musta been hard at times... I can't really imagine how it would have been growing up without either of my parents." I replied, actually not sure what else to say.

Thomas nodded, then sat back in the chair

I did the same, but for the first time today I actually used the fact that he was my brother. I gently rested my head on his shoulder, not wanting to be the tough woman any longer.

Thomas put his arm around Haylen, he was happy that he found his parents and even more thankful to have found out that he had a sister

I was actually feeling the same. And like that we stayed until my mother arrived at the hospital. She smiled lovingly seeing us like that.

Thomas looked over at Haylen's mother, he smiled a bit at her, at the same time, the doctor came walking over to them

Angela Becall and I looked at him.
"Are they okay?" I asked, sounding worried once again.

"Yes they are" the doctor replied, "Your father is one tough man." he added, Thomas nodded, then looked at Haylen

I nodded as well.
"That he is and so are his children." I replied. "Normally I am...."

the doctor nodded, "You can go see him now." he replied, "Thank you" Thomas replied

I said my thanks as well and looked at Thomas.

the doctor nodded, then walked off, Thomas looked at Haylen, then stood up

We both followed him. Dad smiled at us.

Thomas smiled back, his mom was sitting up in the bed

My mom and I went up to dads bedside, my mother taking his hand. My dad looked at me.
"Hope you two aren't mad at me..." he said with a slight frown.

Thomas sighed, "Just a little" he replied before looking at Haylen

"Well... I'm not. Trying to understand is more like it.." I replied calmly.

Thomas looked back at their father, then sat on the edge of the bed, "Tell us what happened" he said to him

He looked at Thomas and then nodded, telling him what happened.

Thomas listened closely to their father

As did I. I was still standing next to them. Dad closed his telling with saying he was sorry.

Thomas nodded, "Your forgiven" he replied gently
