I was watching the entire scene with a amused look.

I looked at Katrina, actually not sure what to think about it. I've never seen both my friends that way and it made me kinda sad.
"Then don't talk to us like that, Katrina." I said quietly.

Katrina looked at Mac. "Mac I'm family I'm blood. I thought you can't turn your back on family?" She said a little hurt he wasn't helping her.

at the same time, Thomas walked back to his office and stood by the window, the girl he and Shannon tried to help was back to her old ways

I sighed,
"I can't turn my back on family Katrina and I don't turn my back on you. But if you want me to help you, you can't piss us off. I'm already about to get into trouble for talking to you in interrogation." I said to her, kind, but firm.

"Find her a rehab center Mac." I suggested

I wasn't trying to piss you off, but he crossed the line saying I abandoned My daughter." I say trying to make him understand then look at Flack. "Stay out of this."

Hearing the daughter part I raised a eyebrow.

"I know he did, Kat. I'm not agreeing on this with him, because you found a home for her to have a better life than you did and that's not abandoning her." I tell her and looked at Don and back at Katrina. "So, what do you know about these guys?"

"Then I do." She corrected him. "And I just know them. And yes I remember you telling me to stay away from them."

I nodded at her.
"Did you know that they robbed a bank this afternoon?" I asked her, actually not thinking she would.

Katrina sighed and shook her head. "No I had no idea."

And I believed it, because I believed in her.
"Good." I said, looking at her. "I want you to stay here for now. I'm gonna talk to Thomas."

She sighed and nodded. "What ever you say."

"I know it's not my place to ask, but... if you could, would you come back to them?" I asked her, actually just being curious.

I was completely amused by the scene.

I could tell he was, but right now I didn't care.

Katrina looked at Mac and nodded. "Yes, but I know they won't have me back."

"We'll see. I'll go and talk to him." I said and looked at Don.
"Don't piss her off." I said with a small smirk and then went in search of Thomas, finally finding him in his office, I knocked at the door.
"May I talk to you?" I asked.

"That was amusing, and when exactly did you get a daughter since you're under age."

"I have my daughter three years ago." Katrina said.

"I see, so how did you end up with the crazy aces?"

"i......I just did." She said not sure how to answer that.

"You gotta give me a better answer than that."

She ran her hand threw her hair. "I was hanging out and one of the guys asked if I want to hang with them and I said yea."
