I nodded and replied the smile.
"So... did I miss anything?"

Katrina smiled and looked at Thomas.

Seeing Katrina looking at Thomas and smiling I looked at him and then back at Katrina, not sure what to think about that right now.

"Just that Katrina asked if Shannon and I could adopt her." Thomas replied

Now that caught me off guard and I was surprised, as I didn't expect that.
I looked at Katrina and then back at Thomas, actually speechless for the moment.

Thomas watched Mac, "Mac, what is it?" he asked

"Nothing. Really, I'm just a little surprised to hear that." I replied. "You really love it here, huh? I asked Katrina with a small smile.

Thomas nodded, then looked at Katrina after Mac said that

Katrina smiled. "Yea."

I nodded and smile back at her.
"Big thing to ask, Kat. But if it's okay with Thomas and Shannon..." I stopped looking at Thomas.

"It is" Thomas replied, Shannon walked in, "What is?" she asked, Thomas looked at her, "Us adopting Kat" Thomas replied, Shannon looked at him, a bit surprised, "Well, I don't see anything wrong with it." she replied

I nodded at both of them.
"Well, you've got my blessing then." I also agreed to it. If they were all agreeing to it, I didn't see any reason not to support that. In truth it couldn't be any better for Katrina.

Katrina smiled bigger and hugged them. "thanks you so much."

"Your welcome" Thomas and Shannon replied

I replied her smile.
"You deserve it, Kat." I told her in truth.

She then hugged Mac. "Thanks Macie."

"For once I overheard that." I said, while returning the hug.

She smiled. "I think your hearing things you do that when you get old." She joked.

I playfully poked her side when Katrina said that to me.
"Wait till you have my age." I said teasingly.

She just rolled her eyes.

Thomas smiled at the two, as did Shannon
