"For now we don't. But unless she's guilty we can't keep her more than 24 hours... but the fact that she was arrested may give us the upper hand." I said, looking at him. "Think she still wants you to adopt her?"

Thomas nodded, then sighed, "To be honest, I'm sure" he replied, it was the truth, he really didn't know if Katrina would want to stay with him and his family now

I nodded and sighed a little.

as did Thomas, what they didn't know was that Bill had abused Katrina

Katrina grumbled as she tried to think about how to get out of this.

Thomas sighed as he thought of what to do next

"She's probably not in the moot to talk to us... I just hope she's got nothing to do with that robbery." I said quietly, looking at Thomas.

"Aye" Thomas replied, "Better go back in side" he added

I nodded and opened the door for him.

Thomas walked in and back to were Katrina was

Katrina looked up at them. "Can we just talk please?"

I looked at Thomas and then at Katrina. I knew I actually wasn't really allowed to interrogate her, but I couldn't push her away, so I nodded.

Thomas nodded as well, he got Katrina up, then took her to one of the interview rooms, once inside, he removed the handcuffs

Katrina rubbed her wrist. Her left wrist had a red mark from the cuffs.

Thomas hooked the cuffs to his belt, seeing the mark on her, "Forgive me" he said to her, "What did you want to talk about?" he asked

She turned to them. "I didn't do anything wrong." She stated, though her eyes were blood shot and it was clear she had been drinking.

Thomas saw it and smelled the beer on her breath, "You've been drinking, haven't you?" he asked

Kat glared. "So what? Whats it to you?" She smarted off.

"You have abandoned Star and did this to yourself." Thomas replied, "And do not talk to me that way."

Katrina slapped him. "I saved my daughter! I don't want her to know her grandfather so I got Shawn to come get her. I never abandoned her!" Kat yelled at him.

Thomas took the blow, then slapped her in return

Katrina laughed when he slapped her then slip on his badge. "Fuck you Thomas." SHe said.

Thomas took his badge from her, "Officer, take this person to a holding cell for the night." he said to the officer that was in the room, he then turned to leave

Katrina turned too Mac. "Mac don't let him do this."

Thomas was already out the door
