Thomas meanwhile was talking with Sinclair, somehow he found out about what had happened

I was looking for Thomas and when I saw him talking with Sinclair, I stopped in a distance, watching them.

the conversation soon got heated, Sinclair accused Thomas of blatantly violating protocol, top which Thomas replied that he was helping someone in need

When I heard Sinclair accusing Thomas of violating protocol I stepped in. It wasn't him at all who had agreed to it first.
"It wasn't his idea, sir." I said to Sinclair.

Sinclair looked at Mac, "Whos idea was it Taylor?" he asked

"I agreed to her asking to talk to us." I said honestly, but seriously.

Thomas looked at Mac, then at Sinclair

Sinclair just stared at both of us. Seeing me not backing down he sighed.
"You could have told me." he said to Thomas, his voice indicating that he still was upset.

"I was going to sir" Thomas replied, he and Sinclair never really got along, main due to the fact that Thomas was Irish

He gave Thomas a suspicious look and looked back at me.
"I hope I can trust your judgment, Taylor." he said.
"You can, sir." I replied.
He shot me another warning look and walked off, leaving me and Thomas alone.

Thomas watched Sinclair leave, then looked at Mac, "I guess I'm not his Christmas card list this year."

"Neither of us will be." I said in agreement. "Actually I was looking for you."

Thomas nodded, "What is it?" he asked

I looked down, sighing a bit before looking back up.
"Well, I was just talking to Katrina..." I started.

"And?" Thomas asked as he stood in front of Mac

"Well... she's got a good point there. You shouldn't have said that about Star." I said seriously, not really mad at him, but a little more serious.

Thomas nodded after he let that sink in, "Aye, I should not have" he replied

"I think you should tell her that in person, but there was something else I wanted to say..." I said, looking directly at him. "I asked her if she still wants to live with you and Shannon. She said she's sure you won't take her back, now."

Thomas looked at Mac, nodding to the first part, "Yes we still want to take her in." he replied

I nodded and gave him a small smile.
"I guess we should go back and talk to her." I said. "She said she didn't know anything about the robbery and I do believe that."

Thomas nodded, then walked out of his office and back to Katrina

I followed him, just wanting to be there, observing.

Katrina looked up and sighed seeing Thomas.

Thomas looked at her, "Hello" he said to Katrina

I stayed in the back, leaning against the wall, watching them.
