Family Picnic [Kelly Family, Katrina]

I nod and smile a bit. "So you and Haylen are brother and sister?"

I gave her a smile. "Thank you. So I guess I have a real big family now." I said in a lighter tone.

Shannon nodded and smiled

"More like half brother and sister." Thomas replied

I nod. "Ok, cool." I glanced over and seen Star playing with the others.

Thomas smiled, then looked back to Haylen and the others

I saw him looking at us and walked over to him, while my mother and our father along with Keven watched the girls play.

Thomas nodded to Haylen as he watched her walk over

"So... how's my big brother been so far?" I asked him, as I stood next to him and Katrina.

"I've been well" Thomas replied, "And my little sister?" he asked

"Can't complain either." I replied and watched Lilyana, who looked up at me and smiled happily.

Thomas nodded and smiled a bit, then looked at Lilyana, "And how is the little lass?"

I watched them with a smile, and look over at Star.

"She's doing great. Really started over. She's been visiting her father last week and he told her that even if he was going to get out one day, he wouldn't take her away from her new family. But she insisted that he was allowed to visit her every once in a while if he wanted to see her." I replied. "A bit after that she came home from school, calling me mom and did so ever since."
I smiled when I said the last part.

Thomas nodded, "Thats good" he replied, smiling a bit, he looked over to his kids and Lilyana, he was happy they got along well

I smiled at Haylen.

"I'm glad we're that close. She's much like her mother." I said, watching them and then smiled back at Katrina.

Thomas nodded as he looked back at Haylen, "Aye" he replied

I gave him a smile.

at the same time, Colleen walked up to them and spoke in Irish

I looked at her, not knowing what she said, though I was learning Irish. At the same time Lilyana took Star's hands in hers and started to turn herself, playing carrousel for Star. She did that a few times and then carefully set the little girl back down, both girls laughing.
"You have a very sweet girl, Katrina." I said to her as Bridget walked up to Lilyana and she did the same thing with her.

Thomas looked over, "Indeed she does" he said while watching Bridget and Lilyana play

"she really loves your girls." I said, giving him a small smile.

Thomas nodded in reply, "Aye, she does" he said to Haylen

I smiled a little and watched them. At the same time my parents and Keven came over to us, Keven wrapping his arm around me.
