Family Picnic [Kelly Family, Katrina]

Keven nodded in reply, Thomas looked back at Haylen, "She okay?" he mouthed to her

I nodded a little. Lilyana got up again and joined Erin and Colleen, playing with Bridget. I joined Thomas and the rest of them, Keven next to me, but he was keeping an eye on the girls.

Sniper was doing the same, he was on alert after what just happened

I looked at Sniper, smiling a little.
"I'm glad he's protective over those he likes." I said quietly.

Keven and Thomas both nodded, "We should get a dog like him." Keven replied

"We may." I replied with a little smile.

Keven looked at her, Thomas smiled a bit, then got a card out of his pocket, "Meet with this group, we got Sniper from them."

I took the card and read it with Keven. "Sounds like a good idea." I said, looking at him.

Keven nodded in agreement, Thomas watched them as they looked at the card

"One more addition to the family. After the wedding." I said half serious and half teasing.

Keven smiled, then kissed her, "I love you" he said to her

"I love you just as much." I replied, smiling at him.

Keven smiled, then put his hand on Haylen's knee

I put my hand on top of his and looked over to the girls.

Erin, Colleen and Bridget were still playing, as was Lilyana, Thomas and Shannon looked over and smiled at them as well

I leaned my head against Keven's shoulder, still feeling a little sad, though I was feeling much better now.

the girls soon came back to the adults, Sniper stood up and looked at them, wagging his tail

Lilyana went up to him and got down beside Sniper, cuddling him a little.

Sniper tried to lick her face, Thomas smiled as he watched, as did Sara and Shannon

Keven and I smiled as well. Lilyana laughed a little and then played with Sniper, teasing him with her hands.

Sniper watched as she did that, then growled a little, "Sniper no" Thomas said to him firmly in German

Lilyana stopped when he growled and gave him a sad face.

Sniper watched Lilyana, then lowered his head, as if he was saying sorry

She gently petted her hand. "I still love you, Sniper." she said in German as well, once she knew Thomas used that when talking to him.

Sniper looked up when Lilyana spoke to him, a smile like expression came to his face
