"He's enjoying those rookies. He got lucky and has an Irish speaking one. He says most of the stuff they talk in Irish." I replied. "He's teaching me a bit of that, too. I'm quick to pick it up."

Thomas nodded, "Thats good" he replied Irish

I smiled. "Love it." I replied in Irish as well.

"I had a feeling you would say that." Thomas replied, a slight smile on his face

"Oh?" I said in wonder.

Thomas looked at Haylen, then nodded in reply

"I sometimes wonder how you just know things like that." I said smiling a little.

"I just do" Thomas replied gently

I smirked a bit. "Soul mates, huh?"

Thomas nodded in reply

I smiled a little and finished my meal.

Thomas finished up a while later

I sat back, looking down.

Thomas looked at her, "Something on your mind?"

"Not really.... just thinking about what you said earlier." I said quietly, referring to his statement of me making a great mother.

Thomas nodded in reply, "I was being truthful when I said that." he told her

"I know you were... just sometimes that thought scares me a little." I replied honestly.

"Being a parent?" Thomas asked

I nodded.

"Haylen, if your saying things like that, then you will ba great parent." Thomas said to her

"guess you're right about that." I replied, looking at him.

Thomas nodded in reply as the waitress came back for the check

"Mind me inviting you?" I asked him.

"No I don't" Thomas replied

I smiled a little and paid for us.
