Beat to hell. (Thomas/Mac)

I'm still here waiting on that stupid damn doctor, still a little shocked at Thomas.

I nodded in reply to what he said.
"Well, I definitely don't want to be the one, causing it." I said with a hint of a chuckle.

Thomas smiled abit, "You won't" he replied, at the same time, the doctor came into Katrina's room and examined her

After the doctor finished I look at him. "Are we done now?"

"Yes we are" the doctor replied

I nod and walk out of the room after getting my things.

Thomas watched, then followed her out of the room

I don't look or say a word to Thomas not wanting to make him mad again.

Thomas didn't say anything either as they walked out of the hospital

I watched them leave and go back to the lab, having something to wrap up.

meanwhile, Thomas drove Katrina home

I bit my lip squirming in the sit as we drove.

Thomas glanced over to her, "Want to tell me what happened?" he asked

"I told you got in a fight." She lie to a point and looked out the window.

"Katrina, don't lie to me" Thomas replied, knowing she was lying to him

Her heart started beating faster. "Ok It wasn't a fight. Happy now?" She looked at him.

Thomas nodded, "Then what happened?" he asked

"It don't matter." she said hoping he would take that but doubted it..

"It matters to me Katrina" Thomas replied, "I'm not going to let the person who did this to you get away with it."

"He's been getting away with it for years." She mumbled in a low tone.

"Who has?" Thomas asked as he turned onto their street

I shank my head. "It really don't matter."

Thomas sighed, "Katrina, let me help you" he said to her

I look out the window. "It was my father." I whisper.

Thomas felt sick when he heard that, "Does Mac know?" he asked gently
