I need to tell you something [Thomas]

It was a quiet day at the lab today and I walked down the hall to Thomas' office, knowing he was there. I was hoping that he would have a minute for his little sister, who really needed to tell him something.
I had been a little moody lately, sadly he mostly was the one, getting it.
So I walked up to his office and knocked on the door, before entering.

Thomas was working on a report when he heard the knock on his door, he looked up and saw Haylen, then sighed, "Come in" he said to her, wondering what she was going to get him with this time

I frowned a little when he sighed and thought about maybe trying it another time.
"I can come back later...." I said a little uncertain.

"Haylen wait" Thomas called out to her

I stopped and looked at him.

Thomas walked up to her, "Haylen, what did you need to tell me?" he asked

I looked at him sighed a little.
"Actually I wanted to say sorry. I was a little moody lately and am sorry it always hit you." I tell him in a quiet tone.

Thomas listened to her, then nodded, "Your forgiven" he replied gently

I looked at him and smiled a little.
"Thanks." I said, still a little quiet.

"Your welcome" Thomas replied, "What is causing you to be that way?" he asked

I looked at him, blushing a little bit, but smile.
"Being almost 3 months into pregnancy." I said.

Thomas watched her, then smiled, "Haylen, congratulations" he said to her

I blushed a little, then smiled.
"Thank you." I said. "At least you know, beeing moody, wasn't personally against you."

Thomas smiled a bit, "Your welcome" he replied, "All is forgiven" he added

I smiled at him. "Good we have that cleared. Now I can celebrate and enjoy it." I said, my eyes shining, something that happened rarely.

Thomas noticed it, "You should" he replied, smiling a bit at the same time

I nodded in agreement.
"We're going out for dinner tonight... want to join us? Lily would be thrilled to have the twins to talk to." I said, looking at him, waiting for his reply.

Thomas nodded, "Where are you going?" he asked

"We were thinking about the Mesa Grill on 5th Ave." I replied to his question.

Thomas nodded, "Nice place, we will be there." he replied, smiling a bit as he said that

I smiled and nodded. "Great." I said happily.

Thomas smiled and nodded, "What time?" he asked

"Around 7, since I won't be home before 5." I replied.

Thomas nodded, "Seven it is then" he replied

I nodded and smiled.
"I'm already nervous." I said, smirking a bit.
