Beat to hell. (Thomas/Mac)

I had gone for a run early this morning and its two in the afternoon now. My real father had seen my and dragged me to his place. To make a long story short I'm at the Hospital trying to be strong. I know they called Thomas and Mac.

Thomas got there first and went up to Katrina's room, he stood next to her bed when got there

I'm Dressed in my running shorts and chopped tank top that showed some of my belly. I look over at Thomas. I'm standing up with my back to the door I got belt markings from my lower back to the middle on my thighs. I got a black eye, my lips cut and my forehear is cut open.

"Who did this too you?" Thomas asked her

I look back to the doctor who is fixing me up. "Just got in a fight leave it." I say with a bit of an attitudes hoping her drops it, but I'm sure he won't.

"Katrina do not talk to me like that." Thomas said to her, his voice stern

I finally reach the hospital after they called me about Katrina and curse the traffic for being that late. I knew that Thomas was already there, having seen his car outside.
I walked up to the room and noticed Thomas' stern expression and knew that Katrina wasn't talking to him. But when I saw her, at least what I saw of her, I didn't even have to ask her to know how this happened to her and who did it. Anyways, I kept my anger against my uncle inside and stayed quiet.
"Sorry for being late..." is all I offered.

Thomas looked at Mac, then nodded, "Its alright" he replied, still not happy with Katrina for the way she was talking to him just now

I roll my eyes at Thomas. then glance at Mac "What up?" then look back at the doctor.

Thomas kept from lashing out at Katrina when he saw her role his eyes at him

I noticed the tension between them, but kept quiet.
"Be lucky that he's a patient and very self controlled man, Kat." I said with a warning tone, knowing he was upset about something.

Thomas looked at Mac, then back at Katrina, keeping his anger at bay for the time being

I look back at Mac. "What thats support to mean?"

"It meens that if I wanted to, I could take someone out with just my hands." Thomas replied

"I think you know that damn well. I told you to treat him good." I said to Katrina and glanced at Thomas. He did a lot of things for Katrina, without even having to do it and for that he deserved to be respected and treated differently.

I look at Thomas and look back to Mac with a little glare. 'OH yea My tough girl is all back now.'

Thomas nodded slowly in agreement to Mac's comment, "You can be tough all you want to lass, but at some point, your going to have a run in with someone who is tougher then you are and they will not have the same self control that I do." he said to Katrina before walking out

I nodded in agreement with Thomas, about to follow him.

"I already have that why I'm like this." I mumble in a low tone.

Thomas stopped in the doorway, "and I hope you have learned from it Katrina." he said to her

I turn around and look at her.
"I know, Katrina. I just want you to learn who you shouldn't treat like this." I said to her. "You know I don't need to ask who did this."
With that I walk out of the room, trying to find Thomas, making sure he was okay. But Katrina probably knew we were going to come back.

Thomas walked down the hall to the chapel, siting in the back row of pews

I shank my head and get my thing and walk out. 'Yea not only am I hurting but I'm pissed and I know I say and do things I don't mean to when I'm in this type of mood'.

I knew her too well, but also knew that at the end of the day they would be fine.
I also knew where to find Thomas and join him, staying quiet for a while.

Thomas just sat there, looking at the statue of St. Luke that was near the altar
