A new family. (The Kelly's/Mac)

Thomas nodded in reply, "Would you have any idea who did this?" he asked

I get done at my friends and text Mac. "I'm done so when ever your ready."

after he spoke to Mac, Thomas heard Mac's phone buzz

I got my phone out of my poket, reading the small text she wrote and quickly texted back.
"Give me 5 minutes and I'm there."
I then looked back at Thomas and answered his question.
"I do, but as long as she didn't tell me, I don't know for sure, because she sometimes gets in fights that aren't harmless." I tell him. "Want to join us?"

I get us a table and sit back and wait.

Thomas nodded, "Sure" he replied, his gut was telling him to go

I'm still waiting for Mac and letting a friend drawing things on my wrapped wrist.

I nodded at Thomas and then left the lab with him, not sure how Katrina will react.

Thomas left with Mac, hoping that Katrina was okay

Katrina was talking with her guy friend.

"I'm not sure she'll like the fact that I'm coming with you, Tom. Just don't let it bother you too much when she's yelling..." I said to him. Thomas, being a friend of mine, was a person I could trust, I knew that.

"It doesn't bother me any" Thomas replied

I smile looking at my wrist wrap my friend drew a pot leaf on it.

At the same time I entered the diner with Thomas.
Actually I was hoping that Katrina would be okay with it, as he was a friend of mine and I was sure she'd warm up to him pretty fast, once she's got to know him better.

I look up and see Mac then Thomas. I growl and feel my blood start to heat up, this is not going to turn out good.

I, of course, see that she's not pleased to see him here, but I won't turn back.

"And were do you think your going lass?" Thomas said to her

"Outside for a minute. Do you mind?" I say popping off an attitude right away.

"I do mind lass" Thomas replied, pushing right back, "Your not the first lass with an attitude that I've met."

I just laugh and push past him to walk out.

"Katrina, you stay." I say firmly.

I turn to Mac and glare. "What the fuck am I a dog?" I ask as my friend watches.

"No, you're not. You asked me to come here and brought a friend and so did I." I reply.

"I did not ask you to bring him." I say pointing at Thomas. My friend just starts laughing. "Aww my Angel with horns is mad." He says.

I had a hard time trying to hide the smile that her friend's words were forcing.
