A new family. (The Kelly's/Mac)

I glare, but do as I'm told. "What Mac?" I ask not yelling this time

"You stay here with us, till you're off your high." I tell her in a more gentle tone and sit down on the opposite side of the table I told her to sit down at, glad that she did.

I stare at Mac for a minute then smirk. "I'm off later." I stand up and almost make it to the door.

Thomas stopped her, "Your not leaving until we tell you" he said to her

I stare at him, is he for real telling me what to do, ok then, I sit back down and pull out my ciggs and light one up.

Thomas watched Katrina as she lit up

I puff it blowing the smoke in Thomas' face. "Want one?" I ask.

"No thank you" Thomas replied as he took the smoke being puffed into his face

I smirk and nod then pull out a favored water out of my bag and drink some of it and look at Mac.

I just shake my head, actually not knowing what else to say. Once I saw her here with Thomas I thought she came to see me, because of what happened to her wrist, but now I wasn't sure what she wanted.

"I'm off my high and have places to be can I go now?" I ask Mac.

I shake my head.
"I thought you had a reason to come here, asking for me and I wanna know what it is, besides, I also wanna know what happened to you." I say firmly, but in a kind tone.

I nod my head. "Yea this a new little diner open I'm buying wanna go? And as for the wrist I got in a little fight." I lift my arm with cast. "Want see what a baseball bat can do to a wrist?"

"Though you don't have to buy, I think it's a good idea." I say to her and get up. "Will you at least say sorry to Mr. Kelly for yelling at him?"

I shank my head. "Hell no." I get up and get my bags. "Give me a half an hour." I then walk out.

I shake my head and watch her leave, looking at Thomas.
"Sorry..."

Thomas nodded, then looked at Katrina, something she said stuck out to him

"May I ask you what pissed her off like that?" I asked him in a kind tone, not wanting to dig, but I just worried about her.

"I was just trying to find out what happened to her." Thomas replied, "I asked how she got the cast on her wrist and she started to act shifty and evasive." he added

I gave Thomas a small smile and nod.
"That's typical of her. Though I think I know what happened, but she doesn't talk about it, especially to people she doesn't know that well." I told him, carefully thinking about what I said.

"What is it?" Thomas asked as he looked at his boss

"You guess something, right?" I asked him, just wanting to hear it from him. I knew that he probably knew what really happened.

Thomas nodded, "I hate to say it, but I have a feeling that Katrina was abused." he replied

I went to my friend's house he was going to cut my cast off for me.

"Thought you knew it. Well, she doesn't talk about it. We mostly keep it as family business, you know." I said to him.
