A new family. (The Kelly's/Mac)

I bite my lip then hit Jeff as hard as I can in the gut.
Jeff grabbed his stomach.

Thomas shook his head when Katrina did that

I smile and kiss Jeff's cheek. "love you?"
"You evil bitch." Jeff rubbed his stomach.

Thomas looked at Jeff, then smirked a bit

Do you want me to hit you lower?" I ask and laugh when Jeff covers his happy place with his hands. "dude don't be playing with yourself in a diner. Gross."

Thomas looked at Jeff when Katrina said that

Jeff slaps me on the back of the head.
"You mother fuc....." I growl.

"Katrina" Thomas said to her firmly

I look at Thomas. "What?"
Jeff laughs.

"Not in public" Thomas said to her

"What did I do?" I ask innocently.

"Don't swear in public" Thomas replied

I just nodded when Thomas said that.

Jeff laughs.
I rolled my eyes.

Thomas just sat there as Jeff laughed

I shook my head.
"Youngsters, eh?" I commented, mostly to Thomas.

"Aye" Thomas replied as he looked at his boss, then back to Katrina and Jeff

I start moving my head to the song stuck in my head.

Thomas checked his watch again, then got up to get back to the office

I look up at Thomas.
Jeff looks at him.

"I'll see you later Katrina" Thomas said to her

"Ok bye." I say and smile.

I look at Katrina and watch Thomas leave, knowing that I should get back also.
"Are you going to be okay for now, Kat?" I asked her.

I nod with a smile. "Yea I got to go soon to get the tat done."

"You know... though the idea of running away is something that feels odd... I'm glad you can stay with Thomas and his family. He's a good man." I said with a warm smile.
