Stuck in the hospital at night [everyone]

as much as I want to hug Mac as well I know I better don't, especially after the whole thing before I got back to the hospital.

I notice her hesitation and decide to take the first step.
"Come here." I say to Stella.

I give Mac a small smile and step into his embrace "I'm sorry" I whisper in his ear so Eleni doesn't hear it

"It's okay. I do understand." I whisper back and hold her close for a few moments.

I pull away the hug and smile "thanks for being here"

"That's what we do, right?" I say with a small smile.

"thats right!" I say with a smile

"See and I'm just glad you're going to be okay." I say quietly, only for Stella to hear.

"always.." I reply quietly and don't say anything further

"I hear you have something else in mind. Want to share it?" I ask in a gentle tone, not wanting to push her, but curious and a little worried about what she was thinking.

"i'm fine" what is he thinking my daughter is standing right next to me. I'm not gonna tell him what's bothering me while she's here. Don't get me wrong but I have to be strong for her. i can't break down while she's here

"Alright." I say quietly, pulling back a little. I understand that she doesn't want to talk about right now and with Eleni here I know why, but I wonder if she's ever going to tell her what really happened tonight.

"I umm.. Think we should leave Cath, Alex and Lindsey alone and go home" I think out loud and look at bothe Eleni and Mac.

"Well, my offer stays." I say in a lighter tone, remembering that I offered her to take her home.

"I would like it if you could bring us home, Mac" I smile

"Okay. Then let's go." I say and wait for them to come and follow me.

I tell Cath we're leaving and Eleni already walks to exit. I quickly grab Mac's hand. I just need that to comfort me.. It sounds silly but I really feel like i need to hold his hand and he better doesn't pull away

As Stella takes my hand I give it a small squeeze. I won't pull back, now. I know she needs me now. I give her small smile and lead her out of the hospital.

I smile back at you and walk out of the hospital

With Eleni walking a bit in front of us I take the chance.
"Feel free to call or drop by my place if you need me, okay?" I tell her, just to let her know that I would be there if she needed me.

"I know Mac, thank you" I smile and gently squeeze his hand

"For you, always." I reply and then lead the two of them to my car.

I smile and we reach Mac's car. I wait for Mac to unlock the car while I take back my hand

I open the car and let them get in before I get in as well and make my way to Stella's apartment. I was glad that she let me take them home.

I stay quiet the whole ride. I didn't really left like talking besides Eleni fell asleep on the back seat. No wonder its 3am already
