hazing (Haylen)

"As punishment" Stephine replied, her tough girl act dropping, "We never left them down there over night." Shannon walked in at that time, "What about the marker streaks on the girl's bodies?" she asked

Stephine looked at them, "The marker bit was to help the girls see their flaws." she replied, telling them how they would have the new girls walk on a table in their underwear, "We did that to Katlin because she disrespected a sister." she added

"What I don't get is why you broke the law just to teach her respect." I said, obviously disgusted.

Shannon nodded, "Agreed" she replied, "We just thought it would be fun." Stephine replied, "Fun?" Shannon asked, anger in her voice, "Can you believe that detective?" she said to Haylen

"Fun... I have a different definition of fun." I said, a hint of anger in my voice, too. "And when that girl died because of your hazing, was that fun, too?"

"What, died, no, no one was suppose to die." Stephine replied as she sat up, "I had nothing to do with that, Laura and Abby killed that girl."

"But you knew she died?" I asked her wondering if she even knew that before I told her.

"No, I didn't know till the next day." Stephine replied, Shannon watched her, she could tell that Stephine was being honest with them, "What happened that night?" she asked

I knew Stephine was telling the truth, but I wondered why she let them do that and why they continued their hazing after that girl died. S I just watched her as she answered.

"All I know is that Laura and Abby kidnapped Megan from her dorm and drove her around town for a while." Stephine replied

"Do you have any idea why they did that?" I asked her, hoping she could clear that I could do some justice to Tina's sister.

"Its part of our sorority's tradition" Stephine replied, Shannon sighed a bit, "What happened after that?" she asked, "Laura and Abby came back to the house, Abby had Megan's shirt in her hand." Stephine replied

"It was ripped" Stephine replied, looking at Haylen as she said that

"I somehow get the feeling that Magan was killed on purpose." I said and sighed.

"Agreed" Shannon replied, "Laura and Abby hated her" Stephine said to them

"Did they ever tell you why they hated her?" I asked, my tone a little more kind now.

"No, they didn't" Stephine replied

I looked at Shannon. This was a reason to question Abby and Laura again.
"Thanks for changing your mind Stephine." I said to her.

Shannon nodded, as did Stephine, the full weight of what was happening to her sinking in, Shannon walked out of the room and waited for Haylen

I quickly followed Shannon out of the room. Once outside I sighed.
"Looks like we have to bring them in again." I said.

Shannon nodded, "Aye" she replied, "Who do you want to take?" Shannon asked

"I'll take Laura, if you're okay with that." I said.

"I'm okay with it" Shannon replied, she then walked to the room that Abby was in
