Sleepwalker [Thomas, Everyone]

Thomas sighed a bit, then went back into the lab

I told Mrs. Michaels to stay in the breakroom and went to talk to Sid, hoping he found something.

at the same time, Thomas went over what they had found from before

I talked to Sid. It made me feeling a little sick, as I asked myself how on earth someone could kill a child. The cause of death wasn't to my liking either.

"Blunt force trauma to the back of the head with a baseball bat." Sid told Haylen

"How kind." I said with sarcasm in my voice.

Sid nodded in reply

"Can someone explain to my how on earth someone can kill a kid?" I asked, more saying it to myself.

Sid looked at her, "I wish I could" he replied gently

I sighed a bit and nodded. "You know... makes it even harder now, with a girl her age at home. Anything in tox?"

Sid nodded, then handed her a paper, "A mix of Chloral Hydrite and GHB" he replied

"So she was sedated?" I said that, thinking out loud. "Do you think she was awake when she was beat to death?"

"I don't beleive she was" Sid replied

"At least she didn't have to watch...." I said and sighed. "Anything else?"

"No, that is all" Sid replied

I nodded. "Thanks Sid." I said and then walked back upstairs to tell Thomas what Sid told me.

"Your welcome" Sid called out to her, Thomas was still in the lay out room

I walked into the room, getting into my lab coat and frowned a little as I walked up to him.
"Found something interesting?" I asked.

Thomas looked up, "Just this" he replied holding up a prescription form

"Prescription.... what was that for?" I asked.

"Xyrem, which is one of the parts to make GHB." Thomas replied

I looked up in surprise, when he said that.
"Pauley had a mix of Chloral Hydrite and GHB in her system." I said.

"Did she now?" Thomas asked

"Yeah. And she was beat to death." I said bitterly.

Thomas nodded, "Get Anna and have Adam do a blood test on her."
