Sleepwalker [Thomas, Everyone]

I nodded and walked back to my office, taking Anna to Adam.

at the same time, Thomas finished up with what he had

Once Adam got the test I lead Anna back to her mother, as she wanted to go to her. Then I walked back to Thomas, waiting for the results.

Thomas looked at Haylen, "How did it go?" he asked

"Not too bad. I think Anna's mother is finally seeing what Anna wanted her to see." I said. "Adam calls when he's got the results."

Thomas nodded, then sighed a bit as he stood there

"What is it, Tom?" I asked him gently.

Thomas looked at Haylen, "I just want this case over with." he replied

I nodded in reply, then sighed a bit. "Me too."

Thomas nodded in reply

A bit later Adam called.
"What did you find, Adam?" I asked him on the phone, putting it on speaker.

Thomas leaned in, "I found traces of Xyrem in Anna's blood." Adam replied, Thomas looked at Haylen when Adam said that

"Thanks Adam." I said, hanging up and looked at Thomas.
"How did she get it? And who gave it to her?"

Thomas looked at Haylen, "He could have placed it in a drink or injected her with it."

"I doubt any girl would have let someone just inject something. But the placing theory makes sense to me." I replied. "But still makes me sick."

"Aye" Thomas replied, feeling the same way

"I wonder who is behind this, though I have an odd feeling about who it could be." I thought loudly.

"The father?" Thomas asked

I looked up and nodded.
"I can't say why, but to me he seems capable of doing something like that." I said.

Thomas nodded in agreement, "Then lets find out more about him."

I nodded in agreement and walked over to one of the computer, doing a more detailed search.

Thomas walked up behind Haylen and stood with her

"Let's see what else Mr. Michaels has to hide..." I said, while waiting for any results.

"Aye" Thomas replied as he waited, the computer beeped a few minutes later, Thomas looked at the screen, "Well, look at that" he said

I looked at the screen, seeing what the computer found.
"I see he has knowledge about meds... and opportunity to get them, but what is the motive?" I asked.
