Lilyana's Story [Thomas]

Lilyana glared at the man in front of her. It did hurt when he slapped her, but she learned not to cry. She wasn't going to give him that satisfaction. And little did the man know that her adoptive mother and her uncle Thomas both trained her in self defense. The first thing she did, when she got her hands free was getting up and rushing into the kitchen, knowing she could find a weapon there. She was a very causious girl.


I looked at Thomas in shock. "If he succeeds...." I started, but wasn't really able to finish my sentence.

the man ran after her at the same time


"He's not going to Haylen" Thomas replied as he closed the locker

Lily was fast, grabbing the biggest knife from the block and hid it behind her back and then stepped away from the counter, so she wasn't with her back to the wall and could get past if needed.

"I hold you to that..." I said seriously. "Sorry.... it's not your fault." I quickly added.

the man stopped, then slowly walked around to the other side, "Come out, come out were ever you are." he taunted


Thomas nodded, "Yes you did and your forgiven" he replied, "Lets go"

Lilyana heard him and moved closer to the other side, wanting to get out of the kitchen. She knew she had a better chance in the main living area than she had in the rather small kitchen. Once she was around the isle she got up and ran out into the living room, pressing up against the wall right besides the door.


I nodded and turned around.

the man heard her and walked in that direction, "Whats a matter?, little red riding hood afraid of the big bad wolf?" he sinkerd


Thomas headed out of the building and back to the diner were his car was

Lilyana smirked a bit when he heard the men's words. She waited till she heard him near her then moved fast, trying to stab the man with the knife. "Not a bit." she hissed as she hit him with the knife, not fatally though.

I walked next to him, not saying anything.

"GAH, b****!" the man screamed out when she stabbed him


Thomas got to his car and started it up quickly

Lilyana pulled back, the knife still in her hands, her grib tight around the handle. She glared at the man, getting away from him.

I got in, still not saying anything.

Thomas drove them back to the lab

at the same time, the man charged Lily again, enraged that she stabbed him

Lilyana held onto her only weapon. She knew she didn't want to kill the man, but she wanted to be free and thinking about the consequences was something she could do later. It was self defense if she got him killed. So when he made another move, she stabbed him again.

Once at the lab I walked up, but being involved in this, all I could do was watching Thomas.

Thomas analyzed it all as quickly as he could, finding a finger print on one of the cards, which he put into AFIS, it didn't take long for a match pop up, "Got him" he said to Haylen

"Got who?" I asked Thomas.

Meanwhile Lilyana was trying to get out of the apartment.

Thomas showed her the image that came up, "Remember this lad?" he asked


at the same time, the man was chasing after Lilyana

I looked at the picture, seeing the man from the park again and nodded. "He's living neaby the pier. From that place he has perfect view down there." I said quietly.


Lilyana held onto her weapon, but she wasn't lucky the door was locked and no key to be seen. "Damn it!" she cursed quietly. Lord, forgive me, please. she thought. Help me!

Thomas nodded, then got the address, "Lets go" he said to her


at the same time, Connor grabbed Lilyana and dragged her back into the apartment

I nodded and walked out of the lab, praying my little girl was okay.


Lilyana fought back as best as she could, praying for help at the same time. "Let me go you son of a bitch!" she yelled.

Thomas ran to the elevator, calling for backup at the same time


Connor threw Lilyana onto the bed, then tied her up, "You better rest up for your flight, princess." he hissed

I already was in the elevator, holding it for Thomas. "And before you say anything, I'm not staying outside." I said seriously.


Lilyana glared at the man in horror. Flight? What flight? Mommy? Lord?

Thomas walked in, then looked at her, "I didn't expect you too" he replied

Connor left the room, closing the door behind him

I nodded and pressed the down button.

Lilyana closed her eyes tightly, holding back her tears.

at the same time, Thomas checked his weapon

meanwhile, Connor was making last minute arrangements for the flight to Germany that night

Not having my gun with me, I just watched him, hoping we would find him and Lilyana.

At the same time Lily tried to get free again, but gave up when she couldn't and prayed for help.

after the elevator got to the bottom floor, Thomas walked out and to the suv, getting in and starting it up

I followed close behind, not saying anything.
