Lilyana's Story [Thomas]

Thomas nodded, "Aye" he replied, "We better get to the Port Authority" he added

I nodded and got up, pulling my coat a little closer around me, actually freezing a little.

Thomas started to walk down the pier toward the terminal

I followed him in silence, the only thought on my mind was getting my girl back alive and fast. But I didn't know what the guy really wanted from me or where he was, so I couldn't do much right now.

Thomas was hoping the same thing, little did they know, he was planing on taking Lily back to Germany

I was very quiet as I walked into the building and up to the counter, asking for the key I was supposed to get.

Meanwhile Lilyana tried to get free.

Lilyana struggled with the cuffs, but they did not budge


at the same time, the guy at the counter came back with the key

I took it and signed the paper saying I took it and wondered if I should go and see what was inside that locker, but it could mean risking Lilyana's life if I wasn't supposed to do that, so I was struggling a little with myself.

Thomas noticed it, he gently took Haylen's hand, "I'll do it for you if you want." he told her gently

"I don't know.... he didn't say what to do after I got it. I don't know what he's up to and certainly don't want to risk her life..." I replied quietly.

Thomas nodded, "Understandable, but if we do nothing, we will be harming her just as bad."

I looked at Thomas for a moment, thinking about what he just said and then hand him the key. "Fine."

Thomas nodded, then took the key and walked to the locker area

I followed him a bit slower, not really wanting to know what was inside on the one hand, but on the other hand I knew I wanted to know.

Thomas got to the locker and opened it, seeing what was in side

I walked up to him, watching.

Thomas looked at what he found after gloving up, one of the items was a post card from Germany

"A Card?" I asked, looking at him in wonder.

Thomas nodded, "From Berlin" he replied

I gave him a puzzled look, not sure what to make out of that.

Meanwhile Lilyana gave up to get free, watching the man in front of her angrily.

Thomas saw the look in Haylen's face, then finished going through what was in the locker


the man looked at Lily, "Not so tough now are you?" he sneered

I watched him, still worried sick and waiting for that bastard to call again.

Lilyana glared at him. "Und du hast so viel Angst vor einer Elfjährigen, dass du sie fesseln musst." she hissed back. (And you're so afraid of an eleven year old, that you have to cuff her.)

the man smiled evilly at her, "Can't take chances with girls these days." he replied

Thomas photographed the items with his phone, then looked at Haylen, "Did Lily say anything to you about going back to Germany?" he asked

"Coward!" Lilyana shot back at him.

I looked at Thomas, shaking my head. "Not a single word, why?" I asked.

the man slapped Lilyana hard when she said that, then cut the cuffs off her, "Go ahead and fight me then." he told her


Thomas nodded in reply, "Not to state the obvious, but this lad could be taking Lily back to Germany."
