Lilyana's Story [Thomas]

Thomas submitted his report to Mac, then rejoined Haylen and Lilyana

I looked at him when he came back, as did Lily, trying to smile a bit.

"You hungry? Thomas asked Lilyana

"Not really." she said in a quiet tone.

Thomas nodded, "We better take you home then." he replied

Lilyana nodded a little and got up, as did I.

Thomas gently took her hand as she stood up

She gave him a small smile as he did and held her other hand out for me, which I took.

Thomas smiled back, then lead them to the elevator

Lilyana walked quietly between us and I didn't say anything either. I was just glad I had her back.

Thomas was as well, at the elevator, he pressed the down button, then waited

On the way down Lily rested her head against her uncle's arm.

Thomas smiled a bit when she did that, knowing she was wiped out from what she went through

I smiled a little as well. I was glad she trusted him that much. I gently carressed her head.

the doors opened again, Thomas held it open for them

Lilyana walked out of the elvator, followed by me.

Thomas let go of the doors and walked out as well, following them to the garage

Lilyana was a little tired, but she made up her mind. "Can we go to that Greek place nearby?" she asked, looking at us.

Thomas looked at her, then nodded, "We can" he replied

Lilyana smiled a bit.

Thomas took them over there

"How about we let her pick a table?" I suggested as we got there.

Thomas nodded in reply, "Sounds like a good idea" he replied

Lilyana smiled and chose a table in the back, a nice booth, quiet and private.

Thomas followed her over there
