Abusive Personality [Stella/Thomas]

Abusive Personality....


I walked into the CSI building on my day off and headed straight to the lab. Looking through the glass walls I saw Stella in the break room and walked in. It was obvious that I had been in a fight. I had a bruise on my cheek and a cut on my forehead that was taken care of already. I walked up to her.
“Hey. Have you seen Thomas, yet?” I asked her, not knowing that she would tell me he wasn’t back from court yet.
Knowing I looked bad I didn't want to look up.

I was sitting in the break room waiting for Thomas to come back from court. Suddenly I heard a voice asking if Thomas was back yet, It was Haylen. "No he's not back yet" I looked up and smiled but my smile quickly fades when I saw her face "What happened?" I dare to ask as I get up and watch at her face closely

I sighed a little.
"Stepped in to protect a family friend." I replied looking up.

"Someone attacked a friend of you?" I ask as I look at the bruises on your face.

"Yeah... and not for the first time." I replied andlooked back down. I actually felt quite miserable now.

"Did you catch the person who's responsible for this?" I ask and rest my hand on her shoulder

I swallowed hard and looked at her, shaking my head.
"I had no choice but to let him get away. I already got a search out for him." I told her quietly. I was still shaken a little and to all that my head started pounding also.

"Don't worry we'll find him kiddo" I assure her and pull her in a hug

I let her pull me into a hug and held onto her for a moment, before I pulled back again, looking at her.
"I'm sure we will... just... wanna see my brother." I said quietly, not aware that Stella didn't knew about my relation to Thomas.

"Your brother?" I ask wondering what she meant

"Tom." I replied, looking at her, realizing that she didn't know. great job....

"Tom?" I still look at her with a questioning expression on my face

I sighed and looked at her.
"Yeah, Thomas' my brother. Half brother though, but still..." I said quietly.

"I had no idea he was your brother" I saw and try to find the similarities between Haylen and Thomas

"We just found out a few weeks ago. We only spoke to Mac... thought he told you." I replied and looked at her. Seeing the expression she had a smirked a little.
"Explains why we are so fond and protective of each other."

"Mac doesn't tell me all his secrets" I say with a smile "yes that does explain a lot indeed"

I tried a small smile and looked down again.
"Well... I don't really feel like having to explain my appearance to everyone else." I started. "Mind if I 'hide' in my office?"

[PS: am off for dinner for a bit]

"Yes sure, go a head, you may also go home if you want." I offer with a small smile

[alrighty, same here]

"It's my day off..." I told her with a sigh. "Can you tell Thomas I need to talk to him, when he gets back and you see him, please?" I asked her.

[baaack ]

"Then you should definitely go home" I tell her a little worried "I'll let him know kiddo"

"I can't just stay home while I have to keep a promise, but I will, when this is done..." I replied seriously. "Thank you, Stella."
I turned and slowly walked down the corridor to my office, sitting down on the couch, staring at my hands on my lap, trying to stay strong.

"If you need anything let me know" I tell her as she walks away. I guess she wanted to be alone till Thomas would be here, that's a normal reaction if you ask me, I would do the same.

As I sit in my office I felt a little alone, but right now there was only one person I wanted to see. I had promised my friend Michelle to help her and protect her, but I failed at protecting her. I felt my eyes water, but keep in inside.

I stayed in the break room, there wasn't much I could do, just hope Thomas would arrive soon.

Thomas walked in a little after Haylen left, unaware of what was going on, "Hello Stella" he said to her while walking over to get a drink
