Meeting Friends [Thomas, Shannon, Stella]

A nice evening in the small bar just a block from the Crime Lab, that was what I wanted this to be. I planned to have a small meeting with Thomas and Shannon, as he was a good friend and so was Shannon, but lately we hadn't much time to meet and talk, like we used to do some time back. Today, however, I had asked them and Stella to join me for a drink, if they did manage to make it.
So now, here I am, having ordered a beer already, but the last three places at the round table were still empty.

I walk into the bar, Mac asked me to come as well, of course I can't say no to him. I see him sitting by a table and walk up to him "Hey alcoholic" I greet him with a big smile across my face

I look up at Stella and give her smirk. Okay, what line do I give her now?
"Tease." I say and smirk.

"It's nice seeing you too" I grin and take a seat next to him

"I agree." I say and wave the waiter to the table. "Choose, it's on me."

"I'll take a glass of red wine" I say with a smile

I nod and smile.
"Glad you came, though."

"You asked me to, Can't say no to that right" I tell him with a smile

I reward her with a loving smile.
"Well, I couldn't say no if you'd ask me to join you for... well almost anything."

"I'll keep that in mind" I grin

"Please do. I don't mind." I say in truth and then hope that Thomas and Shannon will make it here, too.

"alright, do you think Shannon and Thomas will make it?" I ask him

I look at Stella and then shrug.
"I don't know, they haven't texted that they won't yet, so I hope they do. It's been quite a while since I spent some time with them." I said seriously.

"Yes me too, I've seen Shannon quite often at work but not really after work" I tell him

"I know Mac, you told me that a million times" I grin

"sorry." I offer sheepishly.

Thomas and Shannon arrived at the place Mac told them about, after finding them, they walked over, "Hey, sorry we are late" Shannon said to them

I greeted them with a smile.
"It's okay. It's not that late." I said to them, just as the waiter arrived with the wine for Stella.

Shannon nodded, at did Thomas, the waiter looked at them after handing the wine to Stella

Mac looked at them as well.

Thomas looked back at Mac after ordering, Shannon took his hand at the same time, "So, anything new?" Shannon asked

I thought for a moment. "Nothing out of the ordinary, I'd say." I replied, looking at her.

Shannon nodded, "How are things with you and Stella?" she asked

I looked at Shannon and then glanced at Stella.
