a royal crime (Haylen, anyone)

"Yep." I replied, nodding at the same time.

Cory leaned in, "We are going to kidnap the Duchess two days from now." he told her, Thomas, Shannon and Don looked at each other as they listened

I was all ears when he said that. "What can I do for you?"

Cory handed her a slip of paper, "Get these for us" he replied, it was a list of small arms

I took a quick glance on it and looked back up at him.
"I'm on it."

Cory nodded, "How much are you payed?" he asked

"What do think am I worth?" I replied.

"Two million?" Cory asked in reply

"Sounds like a deal." I replied with a small smirk.

Cory nodded, "I'll contact you as to the meeting place." he replied

I nodded in reply. "I guess ya know how to find me." I replied putting the list into the pocket of my jeans.

"I do lass" Cory replied, he then got up from the table and headed out

I waited a little and then got up as well, walking back out.

Don was calling the police weapons storage locker to secure weapons that they could use, at the same time, Thomas called Mac and filled him in

I walked back to them with a small triumphant smile, but didn't show it too much.

after talking with Mac, Thomas let Haylen into the van, "How was the date?" he asked

"It was nice. I am worth a lot of money as I see." I replied with a smirk.

Thomas smiled a bit when Haylen said that, "We better get a move on the next part of the plan." Shannon said

I nodded in agreement.
"2 Million. I am always surprised how easily men can be manipulated."

Thomas gave her a look, "Don't underestimate this lad, Haylen." he replied, knowing about men like Cory all to well

I gave him a look back.
"Do I look I don't know guys like him?" I asked with a bit of an attitute which I instantly regret. "Sorry..."

Shannon looked at Haylen when she said that, "I'll let that pass this time." Thomas replied, but it was clear he was not happy she talked to him that way

I heard it and instantly felt bad for it. damn it.... I thought as I but my lip. I would talk to him back at the lab in a more quiet moment.

Thomas, Shannon and Don soon finished up, then headed back to the lab

I stayed quiet till we got to the lab. I didn't want to say anything else, feeling bad about the way I talked to Thomas.
