a royal crime (Haylen, anyone)

Thomas and Shannon were sent to the Waldof-Astoria Hotel after the William and his wife Catherine reported a theft after returning to their room, upon arrival, Thomas and Shannon met up with Flack, who filled them in on the case, then went in and started processing, Shannon started in the bedroom while Thomas started by the door and worked his way in

A bit later I arrived also at the hotel. Thought I didn't know why I was called also, knowing that normally 2 of us where enought to deal with a crime scene, but then I didn't know what to expect yet.
"So... what do we have?" I asked as I arrived.

Thomas looked at Haylen, "William and Catherine, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, came back from a meeting to find their suite ransacked." he replied

I am a bit surprised by hearing the names of that royal couple that was all over the news.
"What a nice thing to come back to... Anything stolen?"

Thomas nodded, "Just a few jewels and found this on the table behind you, looks like some one is following them." he replied while showing Haylen a photograph

I looked at the photo and nodded. "Seems like it. So... they've been watched and the suit was ransacked when they weren't there, think this was planned?"

"That is my first guess" Thomas replied, "My second one is that this has to do with the fact that the queen was in Ireland this week and a certain organization let it be known that they were not happy about that."

"I guess then it'll be hard to find them." I said with a small sigh.

"Aye, these lads and lasses are ghosts" Thomas replied, meanwhile, Shannon was finishing up

"I hate ghosts...." I retorted with a smirk. "Did you find anything that could lead us to them, yet?"

Thomas smiled a bit, "Just a boot print near the balcony window." he replied

"At least something. So much for ghosts." I replied. "They may be ghosts when we're done with that case."

"Aye" Thomas replied, "But like ghosts, its not going to be easy to catch them." he added

I frowned.
"I start to hate 'em already." I replied.

"They we better not delay any longer." Thomas replied as Shannon walked up to them

I nodded. "They may be hard to find, but not impossible." I said in a determined tone.

"Aye" Thomas and Shannon replied at the same time

I smiled a little and then walked back out with them.

Thomas and Shannon nodded, then followed her back out

Back at the lab, I got into my lab coat and waited for them so we could analyze the bit of evidence we had.

Shannon was doing the same, Don and Thomas interviewed the Duke and Duchess

"Lucky men, talking to the british royals..." I said and glanced at Shannon. "What do you need me to do?"

Shannon looked over at Haylen when she said that, smiling a bit as well, ""Process the prints from the door knob and isolate any that do not match." she replied, "By the way, you have a crush on the Prince?" Shannon asked, teasing Haylen a bit

I nodded and got started, smiling at her comment. "Well, he's a handsome guy for sure." I replied.

Shannon nodded, the smile still on her face, "Catherine is a lucky lady" she said while processing the boot print
