Thomas sat in the documents lab going over evidence from the Zeta trafficking ring case, he had stumbled across evidence that they were back in his current case, but he wanted to be sure, minutes later, his fears were confirmed, the document he found was written by an ex-Zeta second in command, "Wonderful" he said in a tone that indicated frustration

"You don't seem to be happy with your findings." I noticed as I walked up to Thomas.
I was coming in the room just as he said his last comment.

Thomas looked up at Mac, "The Zetas are back" he replied, his tone grave as he held up the evidence that he had found

"Last time I had to do with them was a few years back. What's their 'business?"
I asked interested in this Zeta ring, but haven't heard of them in years I wasn't up to date and not much into it anymore.

"It looks like they are getting back into the human trafficking business." Thomas replied as he laid out what he had on the table in front of him and Mac

"Any victims lately?" I asked him, getting to work with him and trying to help him out.

Thomas laid out several photos, "Jessica Ackerman, 19, Tiffany Morris, 22, Sandra Perez, 20, and Sasha Juric, 24." he said while laying each photo down on the table

"Damn it." I curse quietly. When I was working on this case a few years back I thouught we'd killed that ring, but seemingly they were back now and again I found myself working on a case that could get dangerous for us.
"As far as I remember they're capable of everything to get away. From now on we should proceed carefully."

Thomas nodded, "Aye" he said, looking at the photos, he was about to put them back when something got his attention, "You see that?" he asked, pointing to the photo of Sasha

I carefully study the photo of the young woman.
"Any ideas?"

Thomas looked at the photo closely, "That is an New York University shirt" he said to Mac, looking at the other photos, "The others have the same logo on their shirts." he added

"Do you think the killer chooses his victims from there?" I asked him, but actually had another idea in my mind, too.

"I do" Thomas replied, "What do you think?" he asked, seeing that Mac had a ponderous look on his face, the same one he had when ever something was on his mind

Thomas nodded, "That is understandable" he replied, looking back at the photos, "We have to assume that they are still alive." he said

"Right, sorry. Anyways, they gotta need someone to bait them." I said thoughtfully.

Thomas nodded, "This is a male dominated organization, correct?" he asked

"Mostly, they only have a few women to take care of the girl they kidnap." I replied.

"I see" Thomas replied, "I'll make contact with them" he added, looking back at Mac

"Who? The Zetas? That can be very dangerous for you and us." I warned him.

Thomas nodded, "I know Mac, but I can take care of myself." he replied

Thomas remembered what had happened, "I'm not letting that stop me Mac." he replied, determination in his voice, across town, the kidnapped girls were being held in a on campus building at NYU, one of the Zetas looked at them, then closed the door to the room they were in

"You and I are alike in many ways I guess." I resign. "But don't think I'm letting you go there alone."

"I didn't expect you to" Thomas replied, "We are both military men, teamwork is apart of us." he added, at the same time, Don walked in, "We just got a report of a kidnapping: two girls, Tasha Jaskolski and Britni Patterson, both 21 and students at NYU." he said
