family secret (Haylen)

"Ah oh..." I said, looking up at him.

Thomas gave her a look

"What are you up to?" I asked him.

"Oh nothing" Thomas replied

I gave him a suspicious look. "You don't look like doing nothin'." I replied, watching him carefully.

Thomas smirked a bit at her, Ryan looked at the back of her shirt

I noticed his looked and was curious what there was to see, but I knew if I looked I was screwed. Anyways after a few moments I did.

Thomas had taped a fake bug to her back

"Hey! You're sooo mean." I said, trying to get it off.

Thomas smiled a bit, then got it off her, "I know" he replied

I shook my head, looking at him with a smirk.
"Didn't know you had a side like that."

Thomas nodded, "Comes from being in the military." he replied

"What? They do stuff like that? Gee..." I said, smirking at him.

Thomas nodded, as did Ryan, "Aye they do" Ryan said to Haylen, "It helps ease the stress" Thomas added

I nodded and smiled at them.
"Makes you the perfect big brother right from the start." I said to Thomas, causing my parents and Enya to smile.

Thomas smiled as well when Haylen said that

I walked up to him, giving him the sisterly hug I wanted to give him earlier.

Thomas smiled a bit, then returned the hug

My mother, dad and Enya gave us a round of "Awwws" and smiles.

Thomas pulled back and looked at them, smiling a bit

As did I.
"My family." Ryan said quietly.

Enya nodded, she was happy for her son

I looked at Thomas, actually feeling the same as his mother.

Thomas looked at them, he felt revealed to have met them all

Ryan stiffled a yawn, which I noticed.
"Well, I'll let you get some rest." I said to him.
