Some Secrets Cause Trouble [Thomas, Stella, Lindsay]

I reached my apartment and got inside. It felt a little strange being here all alone, though I knew Alex was behind bars... well should be. I decided to text Thomas, letting him know I got home save.

Thomas checked his phone, seeing Haylen's message, relaxing after he read it

I sat down on my couch, unwinding a little.

Meanwhile Alex was on the go again, unknowingly to us.

Thomas soon got home, but sensed something was wrong after he parked the car

Alex was watching him from a hiding spot nearby, waiting to strike.

Thomas got out and looked around, he knew he as being watched, many have said that Thomas was paranoid at times, but having been in special forces and having studied martial arts, he was more aware of his surroundings

Alex stepped out of his hiding spot with a smug grin.

Thomas looked at him, "Hello Alex" he said in a calm voice as he mentally prepared himself

"Yeah, glad to see you too." he replied, taking a careful step closer.

Thomas watched him, "What do you want?" he asked

"Don't you know that already?" he asked back, knowing that he was now a good bait to get who he really wanted.

"Aye, I do" Thomas replied, "Your not getting to her that easy, lad."

"You sure about that? Because I already got this far." Alex said, keeping his eyes on Thomas.

Thomas's eyes narrowed, "I am sure" he replied, "They only way your getting to Haylen or my family is through me and even then it will not happen."

Alex smirked when Thomas mentioned his family. He wasn't interested in them. He only wanted his only eye witness from almost 15 years ago.
"Maybe... you should give her a call." he said, drawing a gun, pointing it at Thomas.
"Not necessary." I said with anger in my voice, stepping out of the shadows. I had a strange feeling, just sitting at home, so I came by, luckily living nearby. I pointed my own gun at Alex.

Thomas looked at Haylen, then at Alex, "This is what you Americans call a Mexican Standoff, am I right?" he asked

"Just that I am not standing being threatened with gun." I replied, as I was standing almost next to Alex and he still had his gun aimed at Thomas.
"Now Alex, would you be so kind to drop that gun, please?"

"And if I don't?" Alex replied, "Then you will get a free trip to the city undertaker." Thomas replied

"Exactly, because I don't mind pulling the trigger. Now drop it!" I said those last words with a very warning tone.

Alex looked at Haylen, then at Thomas, after a while, he dropped the gun, Thomas moved in to handcuff him

I held my gun aimed at Alex, just in case, until he was cuffed again.

after Thomas cuffed him, he got his phone out and called for back up

I kept my eyes on Alex, still ready for the case he tried to make a move. I got close to him.
"Give it up. The princess' never gonna be yours." I said almost in a whisper.

Alex looked at her, not having a come back this time, "Cat got your tongue, lad?" Thomas asked as back up arrived

I smirked when I watched him being taken away again. Alex stayed quiet.
