Some Secrets Cause Trouble [Thomas, Stella, Lindsay]

Shannon did the same on the other side

"Have you now?" Thomas asked, he knew that all the reading in the world he did about the SAS was not enough

"Oh yes I have." Alex said, his voice now not smug but a little angry.

Well, you should do better next time. I thought, raising my gun at him.

Shannon did the same, her finger on the trigger

Thomas looked behind Alex, seeing the faint outlines of two people behind him, "Then you should know about how good we are at setting up an ambush, NOW!" he yelled out, diving out of the line of fire at the same time

And when I heard him, I fired my gun, hitting Alex. I didn't want to kill him, but he moved and the bullet hit him, but not where I wanted it to.

Shannon fired off a round as well, hitting Alex in the hand, before Alex could react, Thomas tackled him to the ground

Having a wounded hand and a wound that would kill him in the next few minutes if not tended to, Alex couldn't fight back. I hurrid up to them, tossing my cuffs to Thomas.

Thomas grabbed them, then handcuffed Alex, pulling him off the ground at the same time

"You should have done your homework much better, Alex." I said to Alex.
"Get me doc." he almost begged.

Thomas smirked a bit, "We will, but first...." he replied before twisting Alex's hand that was shot

Alex cried out in pain.

Thomas let go after a while, "Remember that pain Alex" he said into his ear, "Thats police brutality!" he screamed, "I didn't see anything" Shannon remarked

"What did he do?" I replied innocently, giving Thomas a small wink. "Want to do the honor of taking him back out, before he slowly bleeds to death? Which he would deserve... lord forgive me please."

Thomas nodded, then walked out with Alex in tow

I watched him and followed, knowing I now had a scene to process.

Shannon staid and helped her, outside, Thomas got Alex into the ambulance that arrived, then got in behind him

I worked carefully, not wanting to overlook anything.
Meanwhile Alex eyed Thomas as the EMTs tent to his wounds.

Thomas gave Alex the same stare

He looked away, staring at the ceiling.

Meanwhile Shannon and I finished up at the scene.
"That is one clever lad, as much as I hate to admit that." I said quietly.

Thomas continued to watch him


Shannon nodded, "Indeed he was" she replied

I got the evidence to the SUV and sighed a bit. "I hope he finally leaves us alone."

"Agreed" Shannon replied

I smiled a little and then got us back to the lab. "you know... actually I didn't want Thomas to get into trouble because of that."

Shannon looked at her, "I know Haylen" she replied

at the same time, the ambulance got to the hospital

I nodded and concentrated on the traffic again.

At the hospital Alex was taken into an ER and another nurse approached Thomas and said he should get checked over as well.

Thomas looked at the nurse, "I will after the prisoner is secured." he replied
