Not an Accident [Thomas, Don]

I looked at Don, still a little taken by all that but nodded, glancing at Thomas.

Thomas backed up as Gordon was taken away, he looked at Don then nodded in agreement

"Well, I'll go and check on Lilyana... do you need me to come with you guys?" I asked them.

"No, we can manage" Thomas replied


Shannon was still in the break room with Lilyana, telling her about how she met Thomas

I nodded and gave him a thankful look before I turned and left for the breakroom, finding Shannon with Lilyana, who was listening to what Shannon told her. When Lilyana noticed me she gave me a smile and walked up to them.

Thomas walked to the elevator after Haylen left him and Don, at the same time, Shannon watched as Lilyana went up and hugged Haylen, smiling a bit as she watched

I was a bit surprised that she hugged me but smiled and hugged her back.
"I see you had good company." I said greeting Shannon with a smile.

"Yes I did" Shannon replied, "Lilyana is one smart lass" she added

I looked at Lilyana with a smile and then at Shannon, as I sit down at the table with them.
"Just like her mother." I said with a small sigh.

Shannon nodded in agreement, even thought she did not know much about Lilyana's mother

I looked at them and smiled a little.
"I know, I haven't talked much about her, but Lily, her mother, and I were quite alike. When we were young some people even thought she was my sister." I said.


Meanwhile Mr. Frank Hermann was home waiting for a phone call. He thought his daughter was with her friends, so he didn't worry.

I started driving toward our friend Herrmanns house to have some talk.

I stayed with Shannon and Lilyana. The girl started asking questions about her mother and I tried to answer them as best as I could.

Meanwhile Hermann was at home, the deal for tonight was all set and going to take place. He was satisfied.

When I arrived at Hermann's house I knocked and said :Open up NYPD."

Hermann stopped what he was doing, thinking about what to do now. He got up and opened the door.
"What can I do for you, Detectives?" he asked them.

"It's open. What do you want?" Hermann asked again.

I entered and said "Mr. Hermann you are underarrest for conspiring to kill Det.Bill Bishop."

"What the hell? What are you talkin' about?" Hermann asked confused and angry.

"What am I talking about? Well the killer of Det Bill Bishop admitted that you hired him to kill Det.Bishop."

Hermann glared at Don.
"You have no damn prove of that!"

"Oh, we'll just bring you to the station first." I said while taking out a pair of cuffs.

"Damn you." Hermann hissed as he felt the cold steal cuffs closing around his wrists.

I took Hermann to the car then I called Haylen and said "I got Mr.Hermann with me now."

"Alright, I'll be at the interrogation rooms. I wanna see what he has to say." I replied, after answering my phone.
