Shane Casy (Mac)

"Irish items that doesn't really belong there." I said, seeing what he was talking about.

"Aye" Thomas replied, "Both are symbols of the Irish Guards and the Royal Irish Regiment." he added

And again what he said proved my guess that Shane Casey was going to go after Thomas and his family, a thought that I didn't like in the least.
"I believe he's going after you and your family, Thomas." I said to him.

Thomas nodded, "He's retracing my life" he replied

"He knows very much about you already, I think." I said quietly, thinking about something, but I wasn't sure if it was the right thing to suggest right now.

"Unfortunately" Thomas replied as he looked at the painting again, "The Irish American Historical Society" he added

"Tom..." I started, using the short form of his name for the second time, as I usually don't call him Tom, but right now I just felt like it. "I know you're not the hiding kinda man, but I suggest that you and Shannon take the girls to the safe house and you'll stay there till he's caught."

Thomas looked at Mac when he said that, then sighed, "I'll call Danny and have him get Shannon and the kids." he replied

I nodded and was actually a little surprised that he agreed that easily.

Thomas got his phone out and called Danny, "I'm not leaving my family in danger Mac." he replied, knowing his boss was surprised that he agreed to this so easily, when it came to his family's safety, there was no room for debate or contemplation

"Figured that. I can also assign Haylen to stay with the girls if you want to." I said, knowing they were close and the girls would have at least one familiar face among the people that would protect them.

Thomas nodded, then spent the next few minutes talking with Danny

I started to process the picture a little closer.

after talking with Danny, Thomas rejoined Mac

I took a few pictures of what we found and then glanced at Thomas.

Thomas looked at Mac, then turned to leave

I packed up and followed him outside.

once outside, Thomas headed in the direction of the Irish-American Historical Society

I walked next to him, my kit still with me, just in case it was needed. Sometimes you never know what happens when you're on something.

as they walked, Thomas went over what they had so far in his head, across town, Danny and Haylen got his family moved to the safe house

Mentally I was cursing Shane for going after any of my team members, but I was determined not to let him get away with it, twice.
Once we reached the building we walked inside.

inside, one of the workers walked up to Thomas and Mac, "Are you with the police?" she asked, Thomas nodded, then showed her his badge, "How can we help you?" he asked, "This way" the woman replied

I had shown my badge at well and then followed the woman to a smaller room.

in the room was a dead body, laid out on the table face up, "Who is he?" Thomas asked

I was a little surprised to see a dead body here as well, but it was obvious that he was presented to us almost on a silver plate.
I looked at Thomas with a slight frown and then back at the woman
