Shane Casy (Mac)

I smiled a little when I heard her saying that.
"How about never get between a father and his children? I'd do the same for my daughter, too." I suggested. "You okay?"

Sara looked at Mac, then nodded, "Aye" she replied, "I'm okay" Sara added, she had her father's strength

I gave her a smile and nodded.
"Let's get outta here." I said to them.

Thomas nodded, as did Sara, they followed Mac out of the building while SWAT and the ME secured the area

Outside I looked at Thomas and Sara.
"Well, now that Shane is gone I guess you can take your family back home and I'll go back to the lab finishing up with this. Deal?" I asked Thomas.

"Deal" Thomas replied as he looked at Mac

I nodded and then got to the SUV, getting my kit and walked back up.
"It's all yours for today." I told him.

Thomas nodded, then got in along with Sara, when they were in, he drove them home, calling Danny along the way

I got one of the officer to take me back to the lab and once I was there, I started processing the evidence we found. Though I had no doubt that it would lead to Shane Casey, it had to be done for safety and to be sure.

meanwhile, Thomas and Sara got home, the rest of the family was waiting for them, Shannon ran up to the two and hugged them both

Haylen had escorted them home and now that Thomas and Sara were home, too and well she asked them if she was still needed around or if she should go and help me at the lab, where I just started my work.

Thomas looked at Haylen, "No, we're good" he replied with a slight nod

Haylen nodded and said her bye before she left. "I'm glad you two are okay." she said to Sara and Thomas as she as bye.

Sara and Thomas nodded, "Thanks Haylen" Thomas replied, they then went inside

She nodded and made her way back to the lab, where she came walking in and helped me with the bit of evidence we had.

once inside, Sara went to her room and sat on the bed, Thomas stayed with her

Me and Haylen were at the lab, I was just processing the fingerprint, waiting for a result in AFIS when Haylen came back from the morgue. The look on her face gave me reason to worry.
"The victim was stabbed... Sid tribble checked it... Shane Casey was too small to be the killer." Haylen said seriously.
As I was going to reply something the computer found a hit in AFIS.
"Let's meet Benjamin Parker, called Big Ben." I said. "He had an accomplice... I'll call Thomas." I said, already dialing his number.

Thomas was sitting with Sara when his phone rang, "Kelly" he answered, not knowing what Mac and Haylen found

"Hey, it's me, Mac." I said when he answered. "We found that Shane had an accomplice for the murder..."

Thomas sat up, "Oh really?" he replied, "What is the lad's name?" he asked

"A guy called Benjamin Parker. Street name Big Ben." I replied. "Does that name sound familiar to you?"

Thomas thought for a moment, "Yes it does" he replied, the tone of his voice changing, "I'm on my way" he added before hanging up, Shannon and the rest of the family were home when he left

I hung up and looked at Haylen who gave me a worried look in return.
"Who is that Ben guy?" she asked, a hint of curiosity in her voice.
"Well, I don't know, yet." I said. "But Thomas' may help us when he arrives."
To that she only nodded and read Sid's report.

Thomas soon got back to the lab and found Mac, walking up to were he was standing

I was at the lab, researching a little more information about 'Big Ben' when I heard someone enter the lab and turn to see Thomas. I gave him a small nod and got up.
