Attack at the Cinema [Shannon, Thomas, Everyone]

I walked out of the room and then up to Colleen's, also softly knocking on the door.

Colleen looked up, "Hey Aunt Haylen" she replied

"Hey. You okay sweetie?" I asked her, walking up to her, just like I did with Erin.

Colleen nodded, "I will be" she replied, Colleen wasn't as easily scared as Erin, but it was clear that she was

As I knelt down beside her bad, I gently stroke her hand a few times.
"I'm glad to hear that." I said to her.

Colleen smiled a bit, then looked up at Haylen

"You're such a big girl already, you know that?" I said smiling a little.

Colleen nodded, her and Erin were seven, "Yep" she replied, "Mom told us that we are going to be starting the path to being women soon." she added

I nodded at that with a soft smile.
"Well, she's right about that." I said. "I was thinking back to the time you two were younger and it just sometimes seems like it was yesterday."

Colleen smiled a bit, "Aunt Haylen?" she asked

"Yes, sweetie?" I asked, looking at her.

"Is it scary in becoming a woman?" Colleen asked

A little surprised about her question I thought for a moment.
"I don't think it is. It's more like an adventure." I replied, remembering how I felt when I grew up.

Colleen nodded slowly, "How so?" she asked, getting curious

I smiled at Colleen, knowing she was a curious girl, but how do you explain all those things to young girl?
"Well, you learn a lot about yourself as your body changes" I explained.

"Oh" Colleen replied, "In a good way right?" she asked

"Yes, sweetie, in a good way." I assured her with a smile.

Colleen nodded, "Thats good, Erin and I were worried about it." she replied

I smiled a little.
"There is nothing to be worried about." I said and then thought for a moment. "But there is one thing you should know. When you get older, just be careful who you trust of all those boys seemingly interested in you. Some are just going to break your heart." I said, not sure she would understand that right now, but knowing she was a smart young girl, she probably knew what I meant.

Colleen looked at Haylen, then nodded slowly, "Okay" she replied

"You know... you and Erin are going to be beautiful young ladies." I told her.

Colleen smiled a bit when Haylen said that, "I bet boys are going to be hitting on us alot."

"Probably." I said with a smile. "But they gotta start playing in your league first to reach you."

"What?" Colleen asked, a bit confused

I giggled a little, knowing she wouldn't understand that right away.
"Well, you are girls with style and pride. A boy that wants to get your interest has to be able to deal with that. That means, he has to show respect and true interest." I tried to explain.
