A little talk [Mac]

"if the mom and the dad would be together yes but they are not" I say quietly

"You mind telling me why? Because honestly I don't really know anymore why we couldn't." I say honestly, trying to stand my ground.

"Because I don't want to" I whisper

"Good to know that," I say, trying to hide the fact that it did hurt me.

"I'm sorry" I say and pull away from Mac. look in front of me and wonder what's going to happen now.

I look down, saying nothing, not sure what I am thinking right now.

"Mac... I didn't meant to hurt you.. but I guess it does eventually" I say without looking at him

"I know." I say in a sad tone. Once I was hoping that it could work out, but now I see that hope shattered on the floor.

I don't know what to say right now. should I go home?

"Guess I'll survive, right?" I say, my tone a little lighter.

"of course you will.. I think I better go home now" I say quietly

"If you want to..." I say a little sadder again. Though it hurt that she didn't want us to be together, I also didn't really wanted her to leave just like that.

"it's up to you Mac, Eleni isn't expecting me home for another hour" I tell him

"I won't keep you here if you don't want to stay Stella. You know that." I say firmly, looking up at her.

"i just meant that if you want me to stay, I'll stay"

"I... want to stay for coffee? I got some cookies left from yesterday, which I didn't need." I suggest.

"That sounds like a good idea to me Mac"

I smile a little more when she agrees and get up from the couch.

Pfeehww at least he's smiling, I hope I didn't hurt him too much

I slowly walk into my kitchen, keeping my mind on the positiv thing about this: she at least stays a little longer. I start the coffee and get the some cookies onto a plate.

I sit back on the couch and looks around the room, its still clean like yesterday before the dinner.

As I rumor around the kitchen a little more, I catch myself humming a little melody I played on my bass guitar two days ago and quickly stop. When the coffee's ready I fill it into two cups and take them and the plate with cookies back into the living room.

"that smells good" I say with a smile across my face
