A little talk [Mac]

I smirk a little and nod. "That's probably why I said it."

"ah ok" I smile and look back at Eleni. "You think she can go home when she wakes up?"

"As much I'd liked that, I believe that she's got to stay over night." I said quietly.

"you're right" I say and look at Eleni's face, she looks so peaceful.

I sigh a little, but say nothing else. I'm just worried and sad and maybe angry, but also just tired.

After quite a while I finally feel Eleni move a little. I look up at Mac and then back at Eleni.

I give her shoulders an encouraging squeeze and her a smile when she looks up at me.
"Maybe we should tell her we're here." I suggest.

I nod and smile at Eleni who still has her eyes closed though "Eleni, sweetie, please open your eyes, both me and your dad love you"

I look at our daughter and sigh a little. I walked around the bed and to the other side, where I take Eleni's hand in mine, gently brushing a stand out of her face, tugging it behind her ear and place a kiss on her forehead.

I smile and watch Mac do so, he's such a good father

I look up at Stella and give her a small smile.

"You're a good father, Mac" I say quietly and smile

My smile grows a little, though it turns into a sheepish one.
"Just like you're a good mother, Stella." I reply in the same quiet tone.

"Start to doubt that" I say and smile a small smile and look down on Eleni

"Then I should also..." I counter and give both Stella and Eleni a worried look, though Eleni's eyes are still closed.

I turn back to Eleni and try to smile

"C'mon sweetheart... wake up. For us?" I whisper tenderly, somehow close to tears which I tried to hide.

not much later I feel Eleni's hand squeeze mine, I look up at Mac and try to smile. "She just squeezed my hand!" I say and look back at Eleni

I smile a little at her when she looked up.
"Good girl."

Eleni finally had her eyes open and smiled. I sigh in relieve and plant a kiss on her cheek.

I smiled at Eleni when she finally woke up.
"You scared us..." I said gently.

She nods and softly whispers that she's sorry. I try to smile and squeeze her hand

I nod back and gently touch her cheek.

at least she doesn't start yelling at us, so that's a good thing I guess

I glance at Stella and am a little uncertain about how to take all this.
