A little talk [Mac]

After the little argument between Mac, me and Eleni. Eleni went home, so did I. I feel bad about ruining Mac's dinner, I really do! that's why I'm here, in front of Mac's door.. I grab the spare key and unlock the door. I know Mac's home, I guess he doesn't mind me walking in, oh well I hope.

I hang up my coat in the hallway and walk into the living room "Hey" I say when I see him sitting on the couch.

Of course I heard the door being opened, knowing that Eleni and Stella both had a key to my apartment it could only be either of them, my gut telling me it was Stella, though.
When I heard her greeting me I put my magazine down onto the table, get up and walk to her.
"Hey."

I slowly sit down next to Mac and look at him. "I wanted to say sorry for yesterday evening, we ruined your dinner" I explain to him, hoping he would accept it. knowing he probably would, Eleni is just a kid and she has a lot to learn before she's ready to become an adult

I sit back down and give her a small smile.
"Don't worry about it, Stella." I say calmly. "She's got a lot to learn."

"I know but still we ruined your dinner. How did the dinner end?" I dare to ask

"Actually it was okay. A little stained at first but it ended on a good note. Though, I wouldn't have mind you two coming back..." I reply quietly.

"I know but Eleni found it hard to go back so well I didn't want her to go home alone" I tell him

"I know. It's okay, really. I do understand that." I say, looking at her. "Was just surprised she knew about me being her father."

"Me too, I did found her in the lab with Adam once but he would have.. no... he would do a DNA test without us knowing right?" I look at Mac in shock

"Like I said, smart kid." I say and smile a little.
"She knows, but she doesn't seem to be mad at us, so I guess there is nothing to worry about right now."

"Maybe. But I rarely hid it when I'm pissed off..." I say quietly, feeling a little guilty.

"Oh well, It's probably my fault, I put your picture in her room when she was a baby. And maybe she heard us talk when I was pregnant" I say and smile a little

"Probably. I don't mind her knowing, you know that, right?" I dare to ask.

"Of course I know that" I tell him

"sometimes you do Mac" I tell him with a small smile

"very bad Mac, very bad!" I tell him and wrap my arms around him "but I can forgive you"

I do the same with her, holding her close for a bit.
"Maybe I should change that habbit." I say quietly.

"at least to me" I tell him with a smile

I look at her with a small smile.
"I'll try."

"Thank you" I smile and kiss your cheek
