NYPD Major's Ball [everyone]

"And who might that be?" I ask and pull him in a hug "I'm proud of you"

"Thanks." I say and smile a little. "Well, the only one who is allowed to call me hero so far would be Katrina. But that has personal reason, but I don't mind extending that list for one more person, one special person of course."

"who's that special person Taylor? You have a girlfriend and forgot to tell me?" I tease

"No, I haven't. Just wanted to say it." I say quickly. Of course I have no girlfriend. I would have told her. Are you sure? YES!

"you're not gonna tell me who it is? I'm hurt!" I reply with a smile

"I thought you could tell me who it is, because right now, there is no one else..."

"i don't know who could possibly want to call you hero but me" I smile

"You really want to call me hero?" I ask a little surprised. Here ya go Mac...

"you are my hero Mac" I laugh a little and throw my arms around Mac's neck and kiss his cheek

I smile and keep quiet, enjoying the small moment and holding her close.
"I'm honored."

I smile and don't pull away, just hold him in the hug. The music start to play again, we are still on the dance floor. Does Mac wanna stay and dance a little longer? I hope so

"Still in the mood for dancing, Stella?" I ask her, as the music starts to play again and a few couple leave the dancefloor and other start dancing.

"of course, are you?" I ask with a smile as I watch some couples start to dance

"As long as you want." I say with a small smile and take back my lead. Dancing with Stella is something I find myself enjoying.

"all night then" I smile and follow Mac's lead, what can I say, he's an amazing dancer, i just love dancing with him

"As long as we'll get a break to get something to drink or eat, I'm fine with that." I reply and smile.

"That's a deal" I smile

"Great." I say and am happy for now.

I smile and pull you closer

I had been late and missed the first speeches of the evening, so when I came I was surprised to see Mac giving a small speech about our successful year at the Crime Lab. Of course he wouldn't get all the rewards just for himself, but said that he had a great team to work with and that he thanked us and of course everyone else who had been working together with us this year.
Keven Armstrong, my company for tonight, was quite impressed and so was I.
Now, after he had asked me for the first dance I was looking around to see who else was here and of course to greet Stella and Mac, not seeing Thomas and Shannon right away.
I had chosen a dark read cocktail dress for tonight, the skirt ending just under my knees and fitting high heels. My hair, loosely hanging over my shoulders, as I usually wear my hair, a few lazy curls in it.
