New Orleans [Mac]

I actually already started packing guessing Mac would let me go to New Orleans. Guess I'm going home early to unpack and get settled again. Or maybe I'll go find a different apartment.

"You know... I have that feeling that you know that much longer than just a few days..." I finally am able to say something.

"I've known about this offer for a week now" I reply quietly

"You thought I wouldn't care, right? You thought I'd let you go, didn't you?" I ask in a sad tone. It should have never come to that.

"yes" I say almost whispering

"Damn it." I curse under my breath. You deserve that Taylor.
"Guess I deserve it."

"sorry" I say and stay quiet after that

"Don't worry about it. I got myself into it." I say and in my thought I kick my ass.

"not really mac" I say

"What do you mean?" I ask a bit confused now. I was the one wanting to take another step and then pull back...

"It's not important I'm staying here anyway" I don't feel like talking about that anymore.. I'm staying now so he has his wish, he doesn't have to miss a csi of his team

I notice that she doesn't want to talk to about it, obviously and stay quiet. I get it. I thought sadly.

"you sure you want to eat some lunch or is a coffee good too because I'm not really hungry" actually I wasn't even sure if I could keep the food inside, I felt terrible

"Pretty much the same as you. Coffee will be fine." I say, but give you a concerned look.

"Coffee it is then" I say and smile a little

"So... are we okay then? 'Cause I feel terrible right now and that even is an understatement." I say, frowning.

"Mac for the last time, we are ok" I shake my head and sigh

"Fine." I say not convinced, but okay, I get it. She doesn't want to talk to me, fine, then I won't ask.

I stop walking and stand in front of you "Mac you don't believe me" I rest my hand on my hip and look into your eyes

"How am I supposed to believe this if it doesn't really sound so?" I say and keep your eye contact.

"Mac.. listen if it wasn't ok I wouldn't stay, would I?" gosh I really want to hug him right now... but...

"Then make me believe it's what you want and you're not mad at me for whatever stupid things I did last time." I said my temper getting a little bit more into it then I intended. "Sorry. Didn't mean to sound... angry." I say quietly.

"Didn't I do that by staying here in NYC? you really think I would ask for your opinion if I were mad at you? would I go with you now if I was mad at you? would I argue with you if I didn't want this to be behind us? what the hell do you want me to do to make YOU believe me?" I say obviously upset. What the hell is he thinking.. like I like this situation.....

"Okay, I got it." I say like a small boy who was scolded by his mother. I don't dare to look up nor say another word.

"Forget the coffee I'm taking the afternoon off, enjoy your day Mac" I say frustrated and start walking
