"I know Mac and I appreciate that a lot but as much as I want to stay I think it's the best if I go home, I mean after today I don't think we should rush things" I try to explain without hurting his feelings

I get up and walk you to the door, kissing your cheek before I let you leave my apartment and then give you a loving smile.

I smile and walk out of his apartment, quickly turn around and give him a quick kiss on his lips. "Goodnight Mac, See you tomorrow" I say and walk to the elevator

I stand in my doorway and just watch you leave until the elevator doors close and I am all alone once again. I go back into my apartment and close the door behind me, locking it and then do the clean up in the kitchen before I get ready for bed, flipping the TV on, sleep still far away. Am too shaken up from today's events to sleep just yet.
