New Orleans [Mac]

"Still feel like one. Not able to tell you what I should've told you long ago." I say, still feeling bad. "But lunch sounds like a good way to start."

tell me what? that he was a coward? nahh we both know that's not true.. so what does he mean then? "But you're not so stop thinking like that. at what time do you want to have lunch?"

"Depends on your schedule. I'm literally on paper work duty today." I say and sigh. play it by ear Mac... my mothers words remind me.

"I'm waiting for some results of my case but that will take a while, maybe we can go now?" I say

"Okay." I say and get up to get my coat.

"I'll be there." I say and try a smile.

"see you in a minute" I say and walk out of his office to my own office

I nod and then grab my coat and make my way over to the elevator.

I grab my coat and sit down on my chair for a moment. ok so I'm not going to New Orleans because of Mac..

She's not leaving just because you told her you don't want her to go... she lets go of that great chance just because of you... You better get your ass moving and tell her, Mac. my brain tells me as I wait for Stella near the elevators.

I get up from the couch and put my coat on, when I'm finished I walk to the elevator "sorry that it took me two minutes" I give him a small smile

"I would have waited an hour." I say and smirk.

"I wouldn't let you wait an hour, you know that" I smile and push the button of the elevator

"I know. Just needed to say it." I say and look at you. "I'm glad you're staying."

"Only for you" i say quickly and step into the elevator

I follow into the elevator and don't dare to smile.
"I'm very aware of it." I say quietly, almost afraid to say it.

"that's very good" I say while I watch the doors close

I keep quiet for a while not sure what to say or do. I'm just glad she wasn't moving and I was glad she agree to lunch. But then I still needed to tell her. I owed her that much.

after a bit the doors opened again and I stepped out of the elevator "so where are we going to" I wonder and look at you

"Our favorite diner just around the corner?" I suggest, honestly not knowing of another place right now.

"Perfect" I say lightly smiling and walk to door to leave the building

I smile a bit and then follow you, staying suspiciously quiet.

We walk in silence, I lost myself in my thoughts while walking though. not that I would have said something, because I had no idea what

Honestly the silence ís killing me, especially since it's not usually that quiet between us, but then I don't really know what I could say. You're damned, Taylor... my minds tells me and I just shake that thought away. How the hell do I tell her?
