When I'm done showering I walk into the living room where I find Mac sitting on the couch.
he's probably the same thing I do; 'What do we have to do now?'

I sit down next to him and put my arm around him.

"It's going to be fine"

I had to say to her. I knew she would understand.

Him... Detective Mac Taylor, Marines was afraid... It would have sound funny but it was true.

Mac still had his shirt in his hand, I pulled away and took it out of his hand.
slowly I pull it over his head so he can put his arms in the shirt and done

"You have to stay warm, it's less than zero degrees outside and it isn't really warm here either"

I finished to put the shirt and I smiled to her.

Suddenly I realized something.

-Have I ever mentionned Kasey with you ?

Once he mentioned having a niece, but we never spoke further about it.

I really wonder how she looks like. A little like Mac or not even close?
I'll see, hopefully Mac will let me meet her soon.

I shighed with relievement. She was Okay with that.

I stand up to grab my jacket

"You got the key right?"

I knew he has the key of my apartment, but I wasn't sure if he had it with him.

The key was with all my keys. I wanted to always have it with me just in case she had a problem.

I put on my jacket and grabbed my car key's from the table.

I came to her, took gently her arm and softly kissed her.

and I walk up to my car with the biggest smile I had in weeks.
I'm so happy, I just can't believe this isn't a dream. It's so magical!

I looked at her leaving with a big smile and an incredible warmth in my chest.

The frist thing I did was to call the restaurant. Then I closed the flat and went back home.

There I took a shower and chose clothes for the eve. Then I waited for her call.

I drove slower then normally, It's snowing pretty badly and I really don't want an accident. I park my car in front of my building and carry the bags of food inside.

Shall I call Mac now or wait a moment?
I call him now! I grab my phone and dial Mac's number.

"Hi, It's Stella. I'm done shopping"

It was her. There was no need for her to tell me who she was : I would have recognized her voice between thousands.
