Sara's visit (anyone)

Sara walked into the crime lab after getting off of school, Thomas had arranged it for her to met him their after she was done at school after an incident at school, after checking in at the front desk, Sara walked back to were the break room was, the visitor tag bouncing against the pocket of her school uniform jacket while her shoes squeaked on the tile floor, Sara watched the people around her, they didn't seem to notice her as they were busy with other things, once in the break room, she sat at a table near the window and got her Latin book out, reading it closely

Henry went to the work room the get some coffee, he was tired, he didnt sleep for two days already, Henry then noticed Sara at a table and walked to her, "You are? I ve never seen you here before." Said Henry as he yawned.

Sara looked up from the book when Henry spoke to her, "I'm Sara Kelly" she replied, "Who are you?" she asked

"Names Henry McGeorge, NYPD Officer, so your name is Sara Kelly, any chance related to Thomas Kelly?" Said Henry as he drank his coffee, fighting to stay awake.

"He's my father" Sara replied, setting her book down, "Its nice to meet you Henry" she added, smiling a bit, "Long day?" she asked, seeing how tired Henry looked

"Yes a very long day, I should really stop working late everyday." Said Henry as he drank more coffee.

Sara nodded, "May I suggest cutting back on the coffee." she replied

"Cutting on the coffee? Are you ridiculous? How in the name of Jesus can I stay awake that way?" Said Henry in a sleepy voice

"Well, if you get to bed sooner, you won't be as tired during the day and you won't have the need for so much coffee." Sara replied matter of factlly

I just got done with some paperwork and decided that I could use something cold to drink so I walked over to the breakroom. Inside I saw Detective McGeorge and a young woman sitting at a table with a latin book in front of her.
"Detective." I great Henry and then look at the young lady at the table. "Miss." I greet her as well as I walk over to the fridge and get myself a bottle of water.

"Hello Detective Taylor" Sara said to Mac as he walked into the break room, still standing by the table

I turned around and studied the young woman as she greeted me with my name. And it doesn't take more than a second to recognize her. How could I forget? I asked myself as I shook my head in disbelief.
"Hi, Sara. Sorry, didn't recognize you first. Waiting for you dad?" I asked her.

"Its okay" Sara replied, smiling a bit, "Yes I am, is he busy?" she asked while gently tugging her uniform jacket

I thought for a few seconds before I answered Sara's question.
"I think he was working in his office, last time I saw him. Well, he told me that he was there if I needed him. Not sure he's still there."

Sara nodded, "Thanks Det. Taylor" she replied, she put her book into the bag, then walked down to her father's office

"You can call me Mac." I told her before she left the room and then watched her as she walked down the hallway to her father's office. I knew Thomas could be proud of her. She was going to be a great detective, just like her parents.
