Demons (Haylen, Stella)

"Aye" Thomas replied as he stood in front of it, "No time to get the bomb unit here."

I sighed and took a careful closer look at it. "Any idea how to get it disarmed without getting ourselves and anyone else killed?" I dared to ask.

Thomas ran his hand over his face, "I'm not sure, but I will try" he replied

I looked at him in concern.
"You sure?" I asked, obviously worried, but I knew we had no time to get someone here with knowledge.

"I'm sure" Thomas replied, falling back on his military training, Thomas improvised and managed to get to the wires of the device

I nodded, not having much of a choice I watched, but still worried. I said a quick prayer for a good ending.

Thomas did the same, then cut one of the wires, to his releaf, it was the right one

I couldn't do much more than watch and pray he did the right thing. I knew I trusted him, but it still was dangerous.

Thomas looked at Haylen after he cut the wire, then looked back at the device, looking for any other traps that he missed the first time around

I gave him a slight nod when he looked at me and kept my fingers crossed.

Thomas looked over every inch of the device and found nothing, "Its clear" he said

I smiled a bit when he said that and walked up to him.
"Natural talent, huh?" I said.

"SAS training" Thomas replied as he stood up

I rolled my eyes playfully. "I know. Anyways... good work, bro." I said, giving him a smile.

Thomas got off the ground, then called for back up

I shook my head a little and stood back, calling for the ME.

Thomas stood by the body, as he did, his phone rang, "Kelly" he said, "Good work detective" a voice said, "Who is this?" Thomas asked

I watched him, while talking to the person on the other end and somehow I got the feeling that this was far from over.

"I am the one your after" the voice taunted, "Come out and show yourself" Thomas said to him as he looked around

"Nah... that would be way too easy." the voice taunted further. "But you should keep an eye on your nice company." it said.

While Thomas was talking on the phone, I had heard something and walked into the direction of a door, that was behind the bomb, not aware of what may be behind.

"What?" Thomas asked, the person hung up, Thomas looked at the phone, then at Haylen, "Haylen!" he called out

I was just about to reach the door, when I heard Thomas and turned around and looked at him.

"Be careful, who ever called me is watching us." Thomas said to her

I nodded, but somehow I didn't want to see what was behind the door at all now. But it was my job to keep people safe and it was my job to find out.

Thomas got his gun out, then walked over to the door Haylen was about to open
