"kay..." I said, thinking.

Thomas thought, then it hit him, "The sex abuse scandal" he said

"You mean those little children being abused in catholic schools? Like... in Germany?" I asked him, looking at Thomas, as I thought about it.

Thomas nodded, "The same" he replied, feeling sick as he said that

Hearing it in his voice, I looked at him, sorrow on my face.

"Have Adam look into the backgrounds of the victims." Thomas said to her

I nodded and then called Adam to let him work on that.

Thomas meanwhile walked down to the interrogation room

Once Adam worked on it I followed Thomas.

Thomas looked at the man as he stood outside the room, trying to resist the urge to walk in and beat him

Looking at Thomas I knew that he tried to keep his anger and temper in check, though I could understand that he wanted this to be over with and I also wanted the one responsible for the murders.
At that time I didn't see it as an act against the faith we now shared once again, but as a scientist and detective. I figured it was a little easier to do it that way.
"Will he survive you, Tom?" I asked him after a little while of watching the man inside.

Thomas looked at Haylen, "He will" he replied

I looked at him when he said that, then nodded slowly.
"C'mon, let's see, what he's gotta say." I said.

Thomas nodded, then walked inside

I walked into the room after him, the guy was looking at us.

Thomas looked at him, keeping his anger in check, "Who are you?" he asked

"Your worst nightmare, Detective Kelly." the man replied. At that time shot him an angry look.

Thomas held his ground, "Why did you kill those men?" he asked

"Who said I killed them? I'm just a wheel of something bigger you can't stop anyways." the man replied. It was obvious that he was playing his game with them, something that ticked me off a little

Thomas knew it as well, "Let me guess: The Illuminati?" he asked

The guy had a small grin on his face.
"See who believes that they exist." he replied slowly. I shot him a warning glance.
"I'd really appreciate it if you would stop playing your game, because for you it's game over anyways." I said.

Thomas nodded, "Whats your plan this time?" he asked

"Why should I tell you what we are planning?" he said, looking straight at Thomas.

"You help us, we help you." Thomas replied

The guy looked at Thomas.
"I don't think you people can help me." he replied. "You can't safe the world...."
