Curare [Everyone]

Actually I didn't want to let go of him, but knew they were right. I gave him an almost begging look instead.

Thomas looked at Haylen, then at the EMT, "I'll take her" he replied gently, the EMT nodded, then left

"Thank you." I replied almost in a whisper. The first time I said something actually.

Thomas looked at her, "Your welcome" he replied, he then took her out of the building

I kept the blanket around me tightly, hoping I would stop trembling.

as he walked out, Thomas stopped, then picked Haylen up and carried her to his car

I let him do that, not strong enough to say that he didn't really have to do it. But I actually felt safe having him close.
Back in my apartment the backup team started their investigation. Little did I know that the guy that attacked me was Robert's identical twin.

Thomas got Haylen into his car, then drover her to the hospital, holding her hand as he drove

I kept quiet during the ride, trying to get those images my mind kept showing me out of it.

Thomas soon got to the hospital, carrying Haylen inside after parking close to the door

I stayed silent, not even looked around as a nurse walked up to us.

Thomas talked with the nurse as he set Haylen down on the bed

I looked down, waiting to be checked. I knew that I had to talk about what happened, but somehow I just couldn't get myself to it.

the nurse and a doctor took Haylen into one of the rooms and got her treated

And of course they asked questions, which I tried to answer, sounding as strong as possible.

A while later I was taken to a room, getting my self cleaned a little and got some hospital clothes. They wanted to keep me over night, just to be safe, though I was physically okay.
A nuse approached Thomas once I was done.

Thomas looked at the nurse, who told him were Haylen was, he thanked her, then walked to her room, gently knocking on the door

I looked up as he entered. I had the blanket around my legs and sitting in bed, my arms wrapped around my legs, like I was when he found me.

Thomas closed the door behind him, then walked over to her, "You okay?" he asked

"I think so." I replied.

Thomas nodded, then took her hand in his

I let him do that and sighed a little.
"There goes our nice meeting... still trying to figure this all out." I said, not looking at him.

"Haylen, we can still do that when you get out of here." Thomas said to her

"Glad we still can." I replied, my voice trembling a little.
