Curare [Everyone]

Thomas nodded, "I am" he replied, "What about Samantha?"

"She's still a little rattled. I took her to her parents home, once she was free to leave." I told him.

Thomas nodded, "Its going to be a while before she goes out at night." he replied gently

I nodded in reply. "She says thanks to you as well."

Thomas smiled a bit, "I'll make sure to stop by and check on her."

I gave him a small smile back.
"Case closed?"

Thomas looked at her and nodded, "Aye, case closed" he replied

I smiled a little.
"We should make a constant team." I smirked.

Thomas smiled, "Aye, we should" he replied

"Good we agree on that." I smiled back.

Thomas nodded in reply, "I'll see you later" he replied

"See ya." I said and got back to my office, finishing this case up.

"Bye" Thomas replied

A few days later....

I was at my place, getting ready for a little brother and sister outing with Thomas, something we did on a regular basis if possible, ever since we found out.
I heard a knock on the door and open, thinking it was him, as he wanted to pick me up. But it wasn't.......


Now I was in my bathroom, sitting in my tub, blood on me and the guy that knocked on the door was lying on the ground, having his arteria in his neck slit with a razor blade. It took long enough for me to finally get that thing out of my razor. I was now only in my underwear, knees pulled to my chest, my arms tightly wrapped around them. My forehead was resting on my knees as I cried.
I wasn't even able to call 911 but since Tom wanted to pick me up, I was sure he'd find me.

Thomas soon got to Haylen's place to pick her up for their outing, as he got to the door, his SAS training took over as he sensed something was out of place, he reached for his off duty weapon, then pushed the door open and entered, "Haylen!" he called out, not knowing were she was

I heard him and lifted my head a little.
"Tom." I said loud enough for him to hear it, but not really calling.

Thomas heard Haylen's voice in the bathroom and walked over, his gun still up in front of him, he got to the door and saw a man dead, he looked at Haylen, seeing that she was in her underwear, he holstered his gun and called for backup, when he was done, he reached out to Haylen

I slowly got up from the tub and just wrapped my arms around him, not caring that I was actually freezing.

Thomas put his arms around her, then got her out of the room, covering her with a blanket before back up arrived

I pulled it around me, trying to calm down.

Thomas held onto her and took her into the hallway

I was still shaken, but managed to look at him, tears still in my eyes.

Thomas looked at Haylen, seeing the fear in her eyes, it hurt him to see her rattled like that

I lay my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes for a moment.

Thomas gently put his hand on her back, as he did, an EMT came up to him, telling him that Haylen needed to be checked out
